Eight ballots in, and a flat-out tie for first!  Numerous other spots also up for grabs.  Your ballot DOES make a difference, so get it in. ;)
Can you hold off until about 7:30 pm Central time?

Not a problem.  This one is usually late as people are distracted with tournament pools, etc.

New top 25 poll is out but no peeking till your ballots are into Mr. Y.

Can we get closer than a one point separation between first and second?

Could be - there was a tie for first after 8, though the 9th restored a one-point difference!

We've only added that one additional ballot in quite a while.  I'm holding off 'til later this evening (at least 8:30 EST) for a ballot from Ralph.  Any others on the way?  (I'll hold off even longer if I KNOW it will add more ballots.)

We've now reached 12 (including all who have said they would vote)!  But since I am glued to the fantasy draft (and am tired), I'll wait 'til tomorrow and see if we can again tie (or beat!) our record. :D  The PP will be posted during the day tomorrow.

Why you @%$%**%&*(*&^%$#!!!! I waited up for that. If you weren't throwing a 16 pound bowling ball around all day you'd have the energy to finish your assigned tasks. Just kidding. I didn't expect it tonight anyway what with the draft. I think when I do the odds for the Fantasy league you might be the favorite. Hate to slap you with that tag  but you're in the running. I'll post those tomorrow as well, on the Fantasy board.

Well, I guess it's public now that I had Gordon in my Top 25.

I was one of the individuals that did not have the opportunity to send in a poll for the week. So, by process of elimination, it could be reasoned out...

I am surprised, however, that Gordon's other vote also disappeared. Despite winning the three games of the CCC tournament and improving their record to 24-4.

Unless, of course, the other voter who had them in the Top 25 last week also did not submit a ballot.

This first round game between Middlebury and Gordon will be the ultimate litmus test for a team with an impressive record but a weak SOS.

I didnt have time to vote this week either.

This serves as my formal apology to St. Mary's - they are good and I'm not sure I've voted for them even once this year.  A bad schedule hurts them, but about two minutes watching live made me a believer.

I had them in my poll every week but one. I'm just sorry I never had them ahead of Willie Paterson. I am glad that I never had Willie Paterson in the Top 10 though. My final poll was somewhat justified when Carthage, IWU, and DeSales advanced to the Sweet 16. I gave all three their highest placement with Carthage at #10, IWU at #20, and DeSales at #22. However, we all missed the boat on Rhode Island College, Brandeis and SUNYIT. They were on the list of teams I was tracking, just didn't have them in the top 25.

Titan Q has mentioned parity in several forums.

"Top 25" is not large enough to acknowledge all of the good teams this year.

If RIC is the best of the LEC, then it took this long for them to break out of the LEC pack,

I think that we have trouble identifying those teams that can "break out" from a solid conference.

SUNYIT may become one of the single-team-in-a-conference powers.

The three teams about which you had questions are the other 3 in the Williams bracket.  If I were to look at my team's best chance to make it to the Elite 8, I would have put myself in the opposite side of the Williams bracket to get there.  That summarizes Brandeis and RIC at this point.  The New York region may be that weak.  I still want to see what the Williams bracket does.
