Pretty good championship game........Stevens Point and Williams are 2 of the 3 teams that earned my #1 through the year.

2 of the higher profile D3 programs this decade.

Agreed - though I personally had Guilford beating them each in reverse order! :(

My gut hunch is that UWSP wins fairly easily - but we can see what my gut hunch accomplished tonite. :P

I think it will be probably about as easy as the last time Point beat Williams...

It will be interesting to see how Williams shoots tomorrow on relatively short rest.  Of course, Point will have shorter rest... but...

My final poll is in.  Obviously the tournament was heavily factored into my decisions.  All in all, there weren't too many teams who performed differently than I expected.

Five ballots in, and only 31 teams mentioned.  The top five seems already pretty clear (though only 1 point separates 4th and 5th), but three teams within ONE point for #6!

Keep 'em comin', guys! :)

I'm working on mine right now and hope to have it to you within the next hour or so if I don't fall asleep first.

My final poll is in. Thanks for doing this again this year Mr. Y. Plus K.  It's been fun

Mr. Ypsi

Working on our ballots seems to have a side benefit - success in pickems!

In the d3hoops.com national bracket contest, of 326 entrants, frodotwo finished 8th, Ralph Turner 17th, smedindy 20th, and I finished 31st!  Since only the top 25 are listed, any other high scorers?

Mr. Ypsi

It's about the usual deadline for ballots (though no real hurry - the next games are not for quite a while! :(), and only 7 ballots so far.

I'm surprised not to have heard from Tom or PS - filling out a ballot with UWSP on top ought to be a pleasure!  (Perhaps they both celebrated the title a bit to vigorously? ;D  But frodotwo got his in.)

Any more ballots coming in, or should I just go ahead with 7?

Thanks!  That ought to be a reason for more fans to participate.

Mr. Ypsi

I got a PM promising a ballot tomorrow.  Any more, or should I go ahead and 'publish' once that ballot is in?

Get as many voters as you can.
