I think Ypsi fell asleep working on the poll.

I wanted potential voters to have AT LEAST an hour to see my 'warning'. ;)

I'd prefer a bigger poll to an on-time poll.

Yes, of course, I have a seven month old.  That's why I was making the comment.  Some of us need to go to bed.

24 of 25, not bad for me considering I was clueless with some of my selections! LOL

According to my sheet, La Crosse had a power rating of #18 in Massey, their SOS was 23rd and their rating overall strength was 25th.  David Wilson had them at 23.  Amherst was #43, 256, 54 and 79.  Amherst is 12-2, La Crosse was 12-4, with losses to North Central, Whitewater and Stevens Point (and North Park).  Amherst lost to Springfield (12-4) and Babson (8-8).

I can't guarantee 'wide' awake, but yeah, I'm usually still on these boards at 1 or 2 am!

I went on the ODAC board and agreed with a poster (algernon?) who predicted no ODAC team would crack the d3.hoops top 25, but they might have 4 clustered in 26-30.  Guilford made it in at #22, and 3 others were 28, 30, and 34.  I told them that VERY early returns in the PP gave 3 teams a solid chance at the PP top 25 (that's when algernon expressed an interest in participating).  Well, they made it: Randolph 20, Guilford 22, and HSC t25 (Va Wes was shut out).

I vaguely remember those days (my younger son turns 21 on Thursday); only vaguely due to extreme sleep deprivation! ;D

Good luck and glad you are still participating at all!

You may wanna check my ballot. I think I was the only guy to have St. Norbert and Buena Vista and I had them in different places than you listed.

Even before you had the 7 month old he had your number. I remember you leaving Mr. Ypsi and a few other of us fantasy players high and dry on draft night on more than one occasion and the clock had not struck 11 bells. There was no 7 month old then. ???

You had Ramapo at both 13 and 17.  Rather than send it back, I just gave Ramapo 13, and moved everyone below 17 up one slot (and no #25).

Only 13 teams named on all ballots.  This really is a crazy year.

On the other hand, I've usually had to deal with 40-45 teams named; so far this year, 35 and 37.

And this week MAY have set a new record: I can't recall a previous week without a 1-point orphan!  Unlike the baseball draft (where the White Sox once drafted Ozzie Guillen's son [who was not even on the baseball team at North Park] as a 'favor'), OUR #25 picks seem legit!

Thanks, John and Greek.

You should have IMd me. I may have slightly altered things.

Move Brandeis to #25 then and retally since I can't re-do it. I'll do better next time.

smed, normally I return such a ballot to let the voter make corrections, but I was short of time that day.  I've amended the poll results.
