I've sent my poll in now that I discovered we were doing one this week. Sorry to be so late but I think I got it in before you tallied them up.

My apologies, I suppose the poll is late because of me.  I told Ypsi about 9 oclock I'd have a poll for him and then got busy doing other stuff and just realized I left him hanging a few minutes ago.

Totally on me.

I think Old Man Ypsi probably fell asleep in his chair watching reruns of Matlock I bet it's up before noon... but he might stall some more since ballots have continued to trickle in overnight

Well he was up well after midnight and still posting  but was probably fast asleep when I sent him my poll at  4:10 AM  this morning. That will help make his day when he wakes up and sees a couple of more ballots from sac and me.

7, your ballot was slightly confusing, because your numbering went 10,11,13,12,14.  I took that as you either flunked first grade , or had changed your mind on St. Mary's and RIC.  I tallied it by the number next to the name, so 12 was St. Mary's, 13 was RIC.  Sorry if that was not your intention, but matters not.

Time to begin the long slog of compiling the final poll.

I'll go back through the conferences and try to do this based on the entire body of work.  This is the same way I do the first poll of the year.  Funnily enough, when I did my first run-through, there was one team that I ranked pretty highly that didn't match up with what the polls and metrics were saying.  That team... Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Should be fun.

A somehow suspect UMHB will make a bit of a jump from the #28 they had in our final regular season poll!

I'll go back through the conferences and try to do this based on the entire body of work.  This is the same way I do the first poll of the year.  Funnily enough, when I did my first run-through, there was one team that I ranked pretty highly that didn't match up with what the polls and metrics were saying.  That team... Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Back on the January 13th Posters' Poll I had Mary Hardin-Baylor cracking my Top 25. They were tied for last in our poll that week at #36 with 2 points. One other voter had also given them a #25 placement. Was that you?

I continued to rank them through the end of the regular season.  I'm not surprised at how well they've played. I saw them play twice online and they looked good in both games that I watched against 2 of the better teams in their conference.
