My poll's in.  1-10 for the most part was pretty easy, at least to me.  Didn't really have much of a problem with 22-25 either (SOMEONE has to occupy those spots, and the votes for those 4 spots are minuscule at best and will barely register overall anyway).  11-21 was a real PITA.  I bumped up some teams I had screwed in recent weeks (like the Brockport's & Texas Dallas's of the world) and threw darts for the rest and see where it landed.

Mr. Ypsi

It's pretty late in the process to have only FOUR ballots!  Where is everybody?

Late in the process? You mean people normally get them turned in before the last minute? ;D

I've been putting it off.  I'm starting now.  1-12 is simple.  Everyone I had 13-19 lost at least one game.  I'm just going to start from scratch for those spots.

I've got 26 teams and 13 spots.  We'll see what happens.

Well, everyone but you. ;D

Most weeks I've gotten at least six ballots by now.

Mr. Ypsi

Well, FCGG was 'early' this week, so I had all seven ballots from the regular crew by late last evening.  I'm still hoping to get one or more ballots from intermittent voters sac, Knightslappy, and/or John Gleich - or perhaps one or two surprise voters.  I'll post around 9 this evening unless I get a request for an extension.

Mr. Ypsi

Sorry to have posted so much later than I predicted.  There was an obvious error in the tabulations - 37 teams named, but the last place team was #36!  The error (probably because I had made it; if looking at someone else's tabulations I probably would have spotted it quickly) took me almost half an hour to find!

The problem with self-editing: if you made the error, you will probably make it over and over until you finally go 'AHA'!

BTW, don't bother to ask: my self-protective memory has already forgotten just what the error was. :-[

FCGrizzliesGrad

I think there's still some errors in your tabulation Ypsi... I had Dickinson 21st. Did my sending my ballot in early throw you off? ;D

Mr. Ypsi

I recorded FCGG's vote for Dickinson as a vote for Mt. Union (the line right above it on my tally sheet).  Also, I have received a ballot from sac (he PM'd me before I actually posted the poll, but I didn't see it in time).  I'm planning a revised poll in about an hour.  If anyone spots any other obvious errors, let me know ASAP.

Mr. Ypsi

To put it bluntly - I have a hard time accepting any votes from someone who made this selection.  I do understand the rigors of participating (I have done it myself in the past) but seriously???  Is this a vote for who are the best 25 teams in the country (based on their actual performance) or is it simply who the voter likes best?

And please know this is not about Hope receiving no votes.  I totally understand peoples reluctance to vote for a team with that many losses (although I bet we could have a wonderful debate about their potential ranking with that lofty SOS).
