I'm working on my poll  right now and should have one in by the time you wake up in the morning.

magicman

I've sent mine in. I may have a few surprises that nobody else has but probably only 1 or 2 at the most.

Mr. Ypsi

I've now tallied nine ballots, and all this year's regulars are accounted for.  Anyone else want to submit a ballot?

I'll post later this evening unless I hear from someone needing an extension.

Mr. Ypsi

JG, I had the entire poll typed in when I saw your post. :P  Go ahead and submit a ballot, and I'll edit at some point.

Mr. Ypsi

What an incredibly tight race from 2-5!  It came out just as I anticipated: the FF teams plus UWSP.

I'm so confused by the UWSP votes. I can understand one close game, but they played 3 close games against unranked teams. What about that poor tournament run screams Top 4 team?

UWSP +/-: +4. Against 0 ranked teams
Williams:  +141 against 4 ranked teams
IWU: +36 against 3 ranked teams

The rest of the season.  They laid a major egg in the tourney (I wonder if anyone knows why?), but were almost unanimously #1 for the last nearly two months of the regular season.

We all have our own ways of balancing the regular season and the tournament.  I think I went more heavily for tourney results this year than in the past (as seen by my high votes for R. Stockton, Dickinson, and Morrisville), but I try to weight the entire season.  To me (and evidently the rest of the voters) the top five were CLEARLY the FF teams plus UWSP.  I have no major quibble with nearly any order amongst them.

They beat the National Champion twice.  I prefer to look at the whole season vs just a 3 week window.
