The winner gets to be the 9th vote at the NCAA Pool C selection and tourney bracketing.

Maybe I missed something ronk...the winner of what???

I got ahead of myself thinking there was a winner rather than every one contributing to a consensus top 25 - false alarm :-[

So what's the status on things here? Who's running it and when will the first ballots be due? End of the first weekend of January?

I guess I'm running it this year  ???

A good time to start it would be the second Sunday of January (the 11th).   All games through the end of that day (and all Sundays in future weeks) would be included.  Unlike Mr. Y who gave the Tuesday deadline, I'll leave the deadline for Wednesday at 8 PM Eastern since Tuesday is the LEC day and I'm usually busy with that.  So, no excuses for why you can't submit a vote since you have 24 extra hours to do one this year!

So, the first week ballots are due by 8 PM Eastern on Wednesday the 14th of January.
One more week and then it's ballot time. How many do we have this year? I know we got up to 10 on the football poll.

Just a reminder, this week is when we start the ballots.  Unlike Mr. Y who gave the Tuesday deadline, the deadline for me will be Wednesday at 8 PM Eastern time HOWEVER you cannot take Tuesday night's game into consideration when making your ballots, only results through Sunday will count, so no excuse for you not to make a ballot.  The only reason I'm giving the extra day is because Tuesday night is LEC night.  Even though we aren't producing one for this week, I have already started one, so I have a base to go off of, if someone wants to send me a practice ballot feel free to do that.  Remember I do have the right to veto a ballot.  It probably won't happen, but if you submit a ballot that has 3-7 Plymouth state in the top 5, 3-8 New Jersey City in the top 10, 2-6 Rivier in the top 15, 1-6 Mitchell in the top 20, 0-8 Baptist Bible #24 and 0-8 Cairn #25 you'll probably have a problem and likely get veto'd.

I have a wake and funeral I need to attend Wednesday and Thursday so I don't think I'll be able to post the poll until Thursday evening so I'll give an updated deadline until Thursday at 5 Eastern.  Sorry for the delay!

7express

I've gotten only 6 polls.  I'm not gonna be able to post it until tomorrow night anyways, so I'm giving an 8 PM Thursday deadline for the next week.  Remember, only games through Sunday count!  If the team you had #1 lost on Wednesday or Tuesday, it does not count towards this weeks poll.

Some mighty strange (or at least wide) spreads in the voting. :o  Dickinson had two 3s and a NR; NCC had two 4s and a NR; UWSP had a 6 and a NR; Chapman had a 3 and a NR; etc.

Do you even have to ask who it was?  ;D

I'm in.  I just decided, I'm not voting for any NESCAC teams until they decided amongst themselves who's going to be good this year.

I have my ballot filled in but since it's not due until tomorrow I'll let it sit for a day to see if I feel like any more changes.
Can we please get some clarity? It feels like I'm throwing at a dartboard to fill most of it out.

You can submit it anyways, since really you aren't supposed to change your results based on what happened Monday or Tuesday night.
