Nice job Mr. Y.

I don't know why but looking at my ballot I left off Oxy by accident, sorry.

Glad to see my ballot is becoming more and more orthodox by the week.  Now if I can only get someone else to vote for MHB... c'mon guys they're doing really well.

Hoops fan, respectfully, UMHB had trouble with Howard Payne in Brownwood on Saturday.  They have 10 conference remaining.  Six games are easily winnable. The 2 against Concordia-Austin, their travel partner, may give them trouble, if CUA gets hot.  UMHB doesn't have a "Top 25 test" until the last weekend of division play (15 & 17 Feb 07) when to go to McMurry and then to Hardin-Simmons with the #1 seed from the West Division on the line.  The ice storms messed their schedule so they play 3 games per week for the next 3 week and 10 games in 22 days.  With the travel requirements in the ASC, that is more than usual.  They will be 20-3 by the McMurry game, but will not have had a serious test since VWC in December.

Well.  We'll certainly know for sure what they're made of by the end of that run, huh?

Hoops, I will rank UMHB in the low 20's if they sweep the next 10 games. :)

What about one loss?
UMHB's IN-Region wins over Trinity TX, Souhthwestern and Ripon are not looking as significant as 3 weeks ago, and the loss to UT-Dallas is less lustrous, too.

I think that they need to sweep the ASC-West to be genuine.  Then I would tout them.

I am waiting on NYU to show me what they have over the next 2 weekends, for that matter.

That's true.  A lot of my initial confidence in them came from a schedule that is becoming less impressive as the season goes along.  I may have to make a major adjustment in the future, especially if they start to lose some games.  I reached that point with Wittenberg this week, as did, evidently, a number of voters in the real poll.

I ran my ballot past the "official" Top 25.  I missed on NYU in favor of UW-LaCrosse.  (I would take UW-LC over NYU in a game at the University of Chicago or any other neutral site.)  It appears that I was the outlier on NYU.

I appreciate your compiling this and giving us the range.  I can see the strength of the support that we represent.

I am looking forward to this next weekend.  We should get some more consensus.
