I'm up if you'll give me some time this afternoon.

By the way, WPI sucks and getting beat by the last place team in the conference tournament should have been enough to prove it.

Mr. Ypsi

Sorry, meant to post earlier.  There will be a poll, but with all the selection and bracketing hullabaloo, I'll make no serious attempt to get it out before Tuesday evening.

Ralph Turner

Thanks, and the next poll will after the final four?

That seems to be a common refrain from you, though, on certain teams.

My power rankings had them at #20 before the tourneys. Massey had them at 18, so it seemed pretty well in line. The numbers just add up right, even with a mediocre conference.

Nor is Ryan Cain. Sounds like a personal thing. I saw them in person and I don't have a single problem with them at 20.

Cain's a good player, I just thought first team was a stretch.  WPI is not as good as they were last year and they didn't measure up last year.  I'm not saying ranking them near the bottom is stupid.  There is certainly merit for it.  I'm just saying they aren't as good as people give them credit for.  If you want a NE team, I'd take RIC or Keene State or even Brandeis ahead of them.  That's all.

Mine's in.  Thanks for hosting this!

Mr. Ypsi

Hoping to get out the last regular-season poll this evening - we've been stuck on 4 ballots since yesterday.

formerbant10

Sorry Ypsi, spent quite a bit of time in airports sans laptop.  Didn't have the time for this week, but am still willing to do the final.

Mr. Ypsi

Calling all voters - STILL only four ballots, but I'm too wiped to post it tonight anyway.  (It's been a very rough week - my 15-year-old was assaulted in school on Monday.  His assailant is in jail (on unrelated probation violation - at Joel's request we have, so far anyway, not pressed charges).  But his assailant's idiot friends THINK he's in jail because Joel was a 'snitch'; Joel is now too terrified to go to school.)

Enough of that.  Bottom line - there is still time to cast your ballot.  Otherwise, sometime tomorrow I'll decide whether it is even worth typing up a 4-person 'poll'!

formerbant10

Sorry to hear about your son.  That's completely outrageous, I hope that everything works out as it should.

I should be able to get one to you tomorrow before noon.
