Yeah, it's been a minute since OWU has won 20 games.  I think I looked last week and OWU hasn't had a winning NCAC record in around a decade now which shocked me.  I like Mott so I hope they have a good season.

Krupar will do well at Musky.  I could tell immediately just based on the central OH kids that were visiting and committing that he was impacting recruiting.  The pitching has been their question mark for as long as I can remember.  Thompson would have some teams that absolutely raked but they just couldn't get guys out.

Mount started their FL trip with an 11-4 win over Aurora.  Interestingly Hansen started today so they held Breeden back I'm assuming to face #2 Salve Regina tomorrow.  I like it.  Trust your guys today and let's go best on best and take a shot at a big win tomorrow.

Should be a good one.

Muskingum was down 7-0 (4-0 after 1)in the 4th to North Central before the bats woke up.  Pulled out the win 11-9.  Play OWU today who picked up their first win against Hanover.  Playing at NC invite at Marietta..short drive for me.

5 balks called in the Muskies game and several other weird calls.  Called a runner out at home after a ruling that the bat was in the way of the catcher.  Never in 10,000 baseball games played, umpired,  coached and watched have I seen something like that.

Muskingum is 10-0 and on the road at Grove City today.  GC is 7-4.  I'm not sure about this current iteration, but the Wolverines have been good the last few seasons.  I bring this up because if Musky wins today their next games are: Oberlin, Waynesburg (DH), @ Franciscan, @ Bethany, Wilmington (DH), Bethany, @ JCU.  So there is a legitimate chance if they win today with that upcoming slate the Fish could be 19-0 going into JCU.

I will point out that Wilm is 3-1 so far so it's unclear how much improvement Craddock is making in year 2.  It may not be as easy a sweep as the Quakers have been in past years.  We'll see once they play some more games.

Yes, today is a big one for Muskingum.  Finally playing a team with a winning record AND a team getting votes in the Top 25.  Certainly several games coming up that should be wins.  Already off to the best start in school history...19-0 would be pretty sweet though!

Have a buddy at OWU currently. Mott is a great guy but doesn't operate the team in a way that puts them in a position to win a lot of games. Knowing a handful of current and alumni from OWU, I get the vibe from their whole roster that they are just happy to be there instead of trying to win a championship. Also, heard that Musky is the real deal so will be interesting to see how they do in OAC play. Get the feeling that it might not be business as usual for the Muskies

How about Jake Corll for the Blue Streaks?! Opponents batting just under .150 through 11.1. Much deserved pitcher of the week for him. The part I like the most is 9Ks no walks. Good to see someone in the #29 jersey pitching at a high level. Picking up right where Midea left off. Could be an exciting season for Corll and the Streaks if this keeps up. Side note, the Blue pinstripes might be one of the best uniforms in D3 baseball. If you have't seen them, you have to check them out.

Yeah the 0 BB is the most impressive stat of all!  0.62 WHIP?  Yeah, that's gonna win you a lot of games.  I did see those navy pinstripes on their X feed I think.  Those are sweet.  They have to be the players' #1 choice.

I'm excited to watch Musky.  BW has been solid, but hasn't found their groove yet and certainly no one else has looked dominant early on.  Etta it's always tough to gauge because they always play a brutal OOC before OAC play so their record can be deceiving.

Good info on OWU.  I usually end up at a couple of their home games each spring.  I just don't get a lot of sense of urgency which I guess aligns with what you mentioned.  I can tell you when they were playing Witt last year as a fan with no rooting interest the vibe of those two teams was very, very different.  Sadly this is probably the most OWU has been mentioned on these boards in years.

BW drops to 4-4 with a loss to Ithaca today.  They're down to #21 in this week's top 25.  I'm going out on a limb guessing our JCU poster is t shedding any tears.  Lol.  Looking at box scores BW seems to have pitching issues so far.  They aren't alone in the OAC there.  Lots of question marks.  But what I thought was a clear favorite preseason I'm not so sold on today.  We could have chaos.

I shoulda kept my mouth shut.  Didn't go well in PA.  I watched the first 4 innings at the office.  Not great for us (OAC).

BW drops to 4-5 with an 11-3 loss to Arcadia.  11 ER surrendered today.  Arcadia is 7-5.  Not bad at all, but good enough to hammer Jacket pitching like that?

Dr. Acula

Etta beats Johnson & Wales 4-3 with a walkoff BB.  Zero hits and zero balls hit out of the IF in the bottom of the 9th.  2 IF errors, WP and BB's. That stings.

Dr. Acula

Mount dropped a 5-2 game to #3 JHU today.  I applaud Mount for scheduling tough OOC games.  Played #2 and #3, played W&J on the road who is always good.  Lost games at ranked CNU due to weather.  Gear up for OAC play.
