Quote from: J3FB2BB on February 13, 2025, 12:37:34 PMThe D3 guys coverage has fallen off in recent years, particularly the weekly podcasts. There are only two guys and they just can't cover it like they did due to their jobs. It's a shame, because it's still the only place to find general D3 baseball news.

I know I'm coming to this late, after D3hoops.com season ended, so maybe this has already been addressed, but ...

1. The podcast and D3baseball.com are separate entities run by separate people.
2. The preseason preview for each region is heavily dependent on each school responding to the preseason info request.

Like I mentioned before, this is a podcast for D3.  Not as entertaining as the other group but informative.

And neither podcast is associated with D3baseball.com.

OACPitcheroftheyear2023

Blue streaks looked good this weekend. Ethan Glossa is the story for this team. First JUCO guy to join the program in a few years and is making a huge impact both in the box and on the base paths.  Jake Corrl proving he's a winner leading the OAC with 4 Wins on the season. Also how about Austin Miller shutting it down out of the pen with 3 saves on the year. Think we're in a good spot to play two with Dr.Acula's squad tomorrow if it isn't too cold. Should be an interesting matchup since anything can happen in midweek madness. This league, you gotta love it.

This midweek slate is great. Anything could happen and I won't be surprised. We should learn a lot from these matchups

The midweek games are always a crapshoot.  Mount will start Lehman today and I assume JCU will start Simon.  After that?  I have no clue who JCU will start in the other game.  Even with Mount I'm not sure.  Warner?  Mediavilla?  The one positive for Mount is that they didn't use up any of their main bullpen arms on Saturday so they should be at full strength out there.

I am so confused today.  BW sweeps Berg at home, but facing the #3-4 SP they didn't do much offensively.  The Jackets needed 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th to break a 1-1 tie in game 1.  Then they needed 2 in the bottom of the 9th aided by a RF error to walk it off 4-3 in game 2.  I watched both Berg games at Mount and I am scratching my head.

Great sweep by Muskingum today.  That is huge to beat Ziance and Rocky.  Valentine with a CG win 2-1 in the opener on only 103 pitches.

Cap started two freshmen on the mound in a split with Wilm.  Furry threw a CG in the win.

Mount swept JCU winning both games by a 5-1 score.  The story of the day was the Raider starters.  Lehman went 7 IP allowing 1 run on 2 hits.  Warner then tossed 7 innings of 2 hit shutout ball in the 2nd game.  Any road sweep is big, but a road sweep at a good team with your #3-4 going is really a leg up in the standings.
