in Rockford's 2nd game tuesday
Fabian Gomez faced 22 batters in a 7 inning complete game ( 1 hit/16 k)
For the year he has a 1.18 era with 55k in 38ip

As far as in-NAthCon stats, Gomez and Dominican's Dvorak have yet to give up an earned run in conference play. One factor that may come into play later on--Dominican's pitching staff is deeper than Rockford's (the Regents have onlly 8 pitchers available.)

(A bit of trivia here--the Regents' Tim Rowe hails from the same town that produced major leaguer Jim Gantner, who played some 10-15 years with Milwaukee --late '70's to early '90's if memory serves correctly.)

When it comes to Rockford pitching staff remenber quality over quantity. The first 3 starters are off to good starts (Gomez, Krull, and Findley)and the 4th (Durlak) was NIIC pitcher of the year in 2005 and back now after not playing last year.
The Question for all the nathcon teams will be what effect all these postponements wil have on them once they can start making up all these games?
