Season kicked off yesterday with UW-Whitewater sweeping Edgewood College 4-3 (8 inn.) and 10-4 at the Metrodome.

King's (PA) swept WLC yesterday, 8-3 and 7-1.

WLC gets off the schneid, splitting with Farmingdale State, 6-5, 6-16.

Concordia-Chicago 7-1 in Arizona.  2 wins over Gwynedd Mercy and one over Webster.  Only blemish was a 7-2 loss to #13 College of New Jersey.  Good start for the Cougars and will be looking to build on it next weekend in St. Louis against Webster and Wartburg.

Has anyone seen Edgewood play this year? Tough early schedule with WIAC and MIAC schools, but I was expecting better than 2-4.

Any injuries playing a part to the relatively slow start? Is Edgewood still the team to beat? I like Marian to challenge. Or is that silly?

Is CUC for real? They played one really good team (New Jersey) so far and lost.
