Unfortunately in the NAC, they've got four teams that really struggle right now. Hopefully they'll get to start playing each other soon so they can get a win.

On the positive side, the rest of the teams seem very balanced right now. AU, EC, RC, CUC, BU and MU all seem very close. CUW and LC might be just a step behind but could make a dent in the race before we're done.

WLC played Maranatha in a doubleheader yesterday at home--and it was the Warriors who got off the schneid--18-0 and 18-1. (At least it beats O-fering) :-[

Marian made things even more interesting by sweeping Edgewood 4/13, 7-6 in 10 and 8-7 in 11 innings, respectively-both in wild fashion yet--per Marian press release. (Reschke got GW RBI in opener, Bartelt did the same in the nightcap. Mlodzik and Raddant got the Saber wins.

Quite an accomplishment, that IL Eagle offense can pile up the runs when it's on its' game.

And I thought Concordia-Chicago was spent after having to play 3 games on the last day of the NAthCon '08 post-season tournament!

1) Is Rockford going to have anything left in the tank for the '09 Tournament?

2) Waddaya say about suggesting that someone invent a portable, durable, dome? (Ba dumm bumm!) :) ;) :D
