Any details on why he isn't attending school this semester or why he wants to transfer??

Durlak went to Rockford.  If he is not there, I definitely think that hurts their chances at making much of a run at the conference championship.  I think Aurora and Concordia have more pitching depth.

Just thought i would put on an Aurora Update. AU is now 3-0 on their spring trip. beating Wheaton College 11-4, DeSales University(#19) 16-7 and 14-3.  Seems as if they are hitting a ton as normal. Hopefully they continue to stay HOT. Any other NIIC updates people have? Thanks

That's pretty impressive. To score in double digits your first 3 games of the season isn't easy, especially when you are used to only hitting inside in batting cages.

Another update, Rockford College is now 1-4 after a tough loss to Chapman University yesterday. It was a pitchers dual having RC pitcher throwing 10 shutout innings before giving up the loss in the 11th Chapmans pitcher threw 9 shutout innings.

AU lost their last 2 games moving their record to 3-2

Concordia defeated Muhlenberg College yesterday to move their record to 3-2 on the season.

Benidictine is 0-2 on the season awaiting thier spring trip. they have been outscored 24-6 in there loses.

Do you know who Aurora lost their 2 games to?

RCSID

Of the four losses for Rockford, two were to #30 Washington University. Chapman, whom they played last night, is currently ranked #4 (last I checked).

Aurora lost to University of Pitt-Bradford and Juniata College on Monday. (9-8 and 10-5, respectively)

Chapman may be #4 right now, but expect them to slide considerably with the next poll. They are a bit over rated and have been beaten by a few inferior teams already. I hope that does not take anything away from Rockford, but a 1-4 start is not good for a team that was given national accolades in the preseason poll.

Im kind of surprised with how much attention Brady Salter gets on this site...Lets not forget he left a DI program because he was not going to get any innings there...Coming from somebody who has hit off him, he does have good velocity, but his fastball is straight as an arrow...Ask his redbird teammates from ISU, they'll tell you the same thing

Ask the New York Yankees about Salter, they'll tell you why they drafted him.

Brady had 8 more scoreless innings of work yesterday to add to his resume.

I just wanted to know if anybody knew the records of all the teams in the NIIC to date? Thanks

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has heard any information about that Durlak kid from Rockford College.  I heard he wasn't playing at Rockford this season and was wondering if anyone had heard anything about him.  I was at the Aurora game last year when they played Rockford and Durlak shut them down beating them 3 to 2 in a complete 9 inning game.  He looked like he had some pretty good stuff and was the NIIC Pitcher of the Year last year with some pretty good stats.  Any info on him would be helpful.

Just curious if any Benectine fans were at the game yesterday. If you were, how did Carthage's 3 pitchers look? Those were their top 3 guys, and they all hadn't thrown in well over a week. Good luck to Benedictine the rest of the season. I was there during football season, and the new football stadium is very nice. Before the game, some of us were watching an old timers baseball game on the baseball field and it looks like an amazing field. Was that just built last year too, or has that been there for a while?
