The QB competing with Joe Callahan was released a few days ago. The Packers did sign Marquise Williams from UNC to fill the spot back up, but I guess Joe is impressing people in Green Bay enough to keep himself on the roster over the other guy.

Interesting development.  Hopefully, we will all get to see Joe in action in the preseason.

Keep it ****ing going Callahan!

So who is next after Callahan? On the roster right now there's Danny Kesack (jr.), Nick Falkenberg (jr.) and Ben Campbell (so.). Of the three, Kesack saw the most action last season appearing in 9 games. Falkenberg in 4, Campbell in none. So I would think he would have the leg up at the moment.

Wesley has also reported "signing" two freshman QBs on social media: Jason Rigby (Polytech HS, DE -- good size, listed at 6'3" 200), and David Marrocco (Old Mill, MD). Don't know very much about either of them, and I wouldn't anticipate one of them coming in and taking the job. Wesley has done a good job of developing QBs over the past decade, so unless they land a big time transfer, I don't think anyone outside the program has a solid chance of being the 2016 starter. Wesley hasn't started a freshman at QB since 2003 (Chris Warrick).

I would expect Kesack to start with the QB position, but that will obviously be settled by the end of summer practice after evaluation of the talent pool.  You want your QB to be comfortable knowing that he won't get pulled from the get-go.  Here's hoping we get a consistent performer.......

Wesley home schedule is pretty weak this year.  Del Val in week one and Montclaire late in the season.  Looks like I will be looking for other games to go to the other weeks.  Road schedule is a good one.  Looks like I will be making a trip to CNU in week 3.  85, will be in touch down the road to meet up again.

Wesley's new unis are sharp. Simple but also kind of classic (reminds me a little of PSU).

There is no chance I will ever be drinking Bud.  I am a beer snob.  Too many good micro beers out there to drink that crap.

I'm with you. And even excellent beer that are not microbrews. Currently in my fridge are some excellent German brews. And a couple of weeks ago a new local brewery just opened in NN. I haven't had any of their product...but I know the guys...good folks.
