I wish we had more support/attendance from the locals personally.  Wesley continues to be a relative unknown here in Dover.  When I explain that Wesley is elite, I get that blank stare......

Do people ask you if they would beat a good high school team?  That's my favorite question from people asking me about the caliber of D3 football.

I love that one. Get that all the time down here in Alabama where every h.s. kid is on his way to Alabama or Auburn. I just laugh and say if your kid wasn't some version of all county/region, he probably isn't good enough to play in DIII without a big jump forward over his next couple years. Since only a few kids per team make all-county, they don't usually believe me. I also point out that DIII teams have 18/19/20/21 year olds playing special teams versus the local h.s. with 15-18 year olds. How do they think that will work out?

FCS-reboot East Tennessee State lost to Maryville and E&H last year even with a year+ of team practices and scrimmages under their belts. Don't ya think ETSU was filled with All-WhereEverYouComeFrom players? In this case, ETSU was a top tier high school team with 18-19 year olds KIDS.

Did someone mention beer?

beers!!! come on!!

What Kind?

Wesleydad strikes me as a Budweiser kind of guy...

There is no chance I will ever be drinking Bud.  I am a beer snob.  Too many good micro beers out there to drink that crap.

I'm with you. And even excellent beer that are not microbrews. Currently in my fridge are some excellent German brews. And a couple of weeks ago a new local brewery just opened in NN. I haven't had any of their product...but I know the guys...good folks.

I am with Wesleydad. Bud is slop. One of the top reasons for living in Delaware IMO is Dogfishhead

NJAC has two teams in the preseason polls, and a couple others receiving votes. Would be nice to see SU and Wesley both make the playoffs again.

And the only non-conference opponent for CNU is receiving votes. Yikes....half our games are against teams either ranked or ORV. Loving it!!!! We always said we wanted to play with the big boys. Well, here we are!  ;D ;D ;D

Looking forward to the NJAC/MAC first week games.  Wesley vs. Del Val, Rowan vs. Widener, and Salisbury vs. Albright.  2 games with ranked teams and the other with teams usually at the top of the league.  I will get to 2 of them with the Wesley game being Friday night and the Rowan game on Saturday.  Almost game time.

Teamski

Yep. it's coming up quick!  :D

Congrads to Wesley's Bryce Shade and Samer Manna for making the 2016 D3F First Team All American squad!  And a cudos to Matthew Gono for getting on the Second Team squad.  You guys most definitely deserve it!
