Undrafted rookie Joe Callahan handled the No. 2 quarterback reps on Wednesday.

Depending on Hundley's situation, we might see more of Joe than could be expected. WOW!

Now that IS news!  Incredible, hey?   :D

@d3jason

It won't be Joe's first trip to Fawcett Stadium. He backed up McSweeney when they beat Walsh in Canton back in 2011. That was the Ben Knapp trip. Really, rough weekend. Let's hope he makes some better memories. He has had some respectable games down the road in Alliance over the past few years.

I remember.  I wasn't sure he was there, so I didn't mention it.  Rough doesn't even start to describe that weekend.

This is great news! SO proud of this young man going all ****ing out in cheese land! Regardless of how this ends up dlip believes there will be no question about the heart and talent of Joe Callahan. He's leaving it all out there! Keep it up Joe!

Maybe.  On Packer pregame they are reporting as of now the field is unplayable.  Somehow messed up (rubber pellet problem) during the ceremony last night.  They did mention Joe Callahan from "Wellesley" College will be starting

The Hall of Fame game has been canceled. This is a joke.

Teamski

Now that sucks!  WFT......  I mean really.   What are the odds that an NFL game would be cancelled because of poor field maintenance?  Man, I was so hoping to see Callahan, and you KNOW he is utterly disappointed too.

It sucks especially under the circumstances. Joe had a chance to bring in the NFL/football season on national television. It wasn't going to be Aaron Rodgers starting, or Brett Hundley, but Joe Callahan from Wesley. You don't get many opportunities like that EVER.

Bartman

Well, at least Aaron Rodgers mentioned Joe's name and Wesley during the broadcast....hope he gets a good look in the next pre season game

CNU85

This is new territory for CNU fans. However, I like the challenge. I don't believe the program is weaker than before. It's just the competition is on a different level. 78-17 (82%) in the USA South was crazy. It took until the fifth season of program history to lose as many conference games as we lost last year!!
