Question for the Wesley folks. Although the production was "middle schoolish" at best with the grainy video and odd camera angles, I'd still like to actually watch last night's game. I'm assuming that Wesley archives their games like every other team in the area. Do you know how to go about accessing the archived video on the website?

Thanks!

Just so you know, it's not as simple as putting a couple thousand bucks into upgrades. The stadium is off campus and therefore, fairly distant from the campus network. Bandwidth isn't cheap, and if you've been a Del Val fan for more than a couple years you probably know what it's like to not have video streaming.

Wesley fans have been complaining for years........this isn't new. I think your off on the "couple of years" re: DelVal and video streaming (fan since I moved to the bucolic Doylestown area in 2001). It's been more than just a couple (I'll settle on the word several ;) ). It's also nice how DelVal archives the games so people who missed it have the opportunity to go back and watch them (i.e. the MAC Men's Basketball Championship in February......the 3rd in 6 years.......over Wilkes).  In fact, our very own Gordon Mann has done a wonderful job for years on DelVal football AND some basketball broadcasts. DelVal had a crappy playing surface for years and an alum (non-athlete by the way) stepped up to put down a beautiful grass field and then to put in a gorgeous turf field. These expenditures are exponentially greater than what it would take to bring in a 2016 version of video streaming and Wesley has a ton of proud alums that would write the check if asked (I've spoken to two of them). From the words of a high profile Wesley alum, "a perennial, national top ten team should have a video production to match". He shut up when I asked him where his checkbook was as my motto is "words not backed up by action is no different than remaining silent". :)

Great job Joe! We're all proud of our South Jersey/Philly (family is longtime season ticket holders) boy!!!!

What a game!!! CNU wins 26-7. Dominates Kean. Totally unexpected as far as the level of dominance. TOP was almost 40 min to 20. CNU scores twice on defense.

Can somebody please explain the "hype" around Frostburg State? Or perhaps a better phrasing: Is Frostburg really that good? I get that they had one of their best years in program history last year and that they had a 20 point advantage on Salisbury, and came close v. Rowan and Montclair, but Wesley thrashed them last year 44-3. Frostburg would only gain 201 yards of offense and 3 points against what would be a very pedestrian year of defense for Wesley.

Unless Frostburg is that "darkhorse" candidate to win the NJAC and has improved significantly since the last meeting, I just dont see them keeping it close with Wesley..... unless of course Wesley's offense has fallen off that much with the departure of Callahan. They just need to get the ball in the hands of their playmakers at WR and Baynard until the QB situation gets worked out. After Del Val though, I think Kesack starts this week.

Had a chance to watch the Albright vs. Salisbury game live and the stadium was really nice. Also, had an opportunity to talk with some former players of Salisbury and they indicated that the stadium has come a long way over the last 10 years. Regarding the game, it was very competitive early on, but you had a feeling that Salisbury was a the better team, Salisbury slot receivers/running backs are very talented. The QB controlled the game as well. I believe if Albright was a bit more aggressive with the deep crossing patterns, they may have been a bit more successful (maybe because the run was working early on). Overall, it was a good game to watch and good atmosphere talking to former players, Salisbury could of easily won by a couple more touchdowns, but expect both teams to be better their next games.

I have seen any hype around Frostburg State. What are you referring to? I think they were ok last year (the Wesley result notwithstanding) and, according to Kickoff, they have a bunch of returning starters. But I haven't seen anyone saying they expect Frostburg to beat Wesley.

CNU85

Week 1 Top 25 is out. Interesting how the polls work. Wesley loses to a good DelVal team and drop 10 spots.  Kean gets crushed by CNU ( a sub .500 team last year and picked to finish 7th in the NJAC)and picks up 3 more points in ORV.

I mean I guess you can call it hype for where Frostburg has been. They got a 1st place vote in the NJAC coaches poll and the press release noted they were the "darkhorse candidate."

I am ok with the Wesley spot.  Also saw that Kean picked up points, maybe the vote was in before the sunday game result.

That is literally the only logical explanation.  I've been grinding away all day trying to figure this out and that's exactly it.  Has to be.
