I gotta say thats bull****.... msu is playing serious ball right now if  we beat rowan we deserve some serious consideration to go to the playoffs.... Damn rowan totaly screwed us by loosing to one of the softest teams I have ever played against willy p can't believe this happend...wow I am in complete shock right now....... 2 teams deserve to go to the ncaa from our conference... and if and when we beat Rowan I think we should get a pool c... those teams from upstate ny with the exception of ithica would get smoked in our conference so pissed right now don't even no what to do!!!!!!

First off its IthAca, not IthIca.  Second, there is no way you can say everyone but IC would get smoked in your conference when Ithaca isnt even the clear cut best team in their conference or in the upstate ny region.  I'll bet anything that SJF would finish at least 2nd in the NJAC.

whatever I play footbal I don't talk in post rooms i just really don't no what to do at this point so upset.. didn't mean to say that you had a bad squad but besides that... the point is... if we beat Rowan we deserve to make the ncaa Pat can you explain what msu chances are if we beat rowan.... what would have to happen around the region who has to lose?

rams1102

msuredhawk,

Let's get ready to go to Glassboro and come away with a win. Everything else will take care of itself. ;)

You've got 3 losses on the season and you think your team deserves to be in the NCAA's???  I know that NJ is made up of the waste of nuclear power plants but i really didnt think that people from jersey were this stupid.....

Pat Coleman

Everyone in Pool C with one regional loss would have to lose next week. Even then it wouldn't be even as much as a 50-50 chance.

Well this is going to be odd... But ill join in w/ the Cortland fans cheering for MSU.  I'd love to see an Ithaca-Cortland Playoff game!

Go Bombers

Go MSU

theoriginal,

your right, 3 loses doesn't do it, but I'll take an ECAC Bid and get this young team some experience. Will you guys be cheering for us after we beat Rowan, I hope? :D Probably not. ;)

I have been around a lot of Rowan football over the years, and that was the worst lost I've seen since Ornstein lost to Jersey City and threw like 4 or 5 ints.

How does a team with the talent Rowan has lose to Willy P.  I think Bergen Catholic could beat Willy P.

Rankin absolutely stunk the place up,  and if the Profs want to do anything in the playoffs, its time to put #17 under center.

Obivously, the Profs proved today that they CAN'T win without Orihel.  All of the wounded beast talk was crap, just crap... and I've been a Rowan fan for twenty years.

I appreciate the fact that you don't want to say anything negative about your team, but losing two All-Americans, in  Bond and Orihel changes the complexion of your team.

I think that unless they put Wright at QB, myself as all of the other Prof faithful better start getting excited about basketball season for the Profs.

I do give the team credit, but trying to win without your two top offensive and defensive leaders is difficult enough, but trying to do it with our current QB situation just simply isn't going to get it done.

That game was difficult to watch.  My hats off to Willy P... Great win, and a great game...

4merprof,

Wright is a monster, looks like a man around kids. It's a tough call. When DiGeralamo screwed up his ankle against you guys in 2003 he was not the same in the playoffs.(besides he didn't go to classes). It's time for a reality check for everyone.

msuredhawk,

These teams only have one loss on the season and would be ranked ahead of MSU for a pool c bid:

North Central
Cal Lutheran
Central
Conc.Moorhead
Depauw
UMHB
St John Fisher
Hobart/RPI/Union (One will win the division and get an A)

There are only 7 spots available (unless some spill over from pool b).  But stranger things have happened.  Win next week and see what happens, but it's a long shot, at best.

You can't lose to Frostburg and then expect playoff consideration when beating Rowan means you hand the NJAC championship to Cortland. Wesley's utter destruction of Salisbury also takes that win down a notch (especially after the Wesley / Brockport game). I give Montclair credit. I didn't think they'd be this competitive. Beat Rowan and use it as a building block towards next year.

QuotePhil-- Congrats to the TCNJ women's soccer team on their championship.  Isn't TCNJ an all girl school yet!!
We'll ... to be accurate the men's and ladies soccer teams, the ladies tennis team and the men's and ladies X-country teams have all won NJAC titles so far this fall. The men's soccer team wrapped up the conference title tonight after being picked by the coaches to finish 9th of 10 teams.

Of course as a football fan I'd much rather see TCNJ succeed on the gridiron this year - but having 5 other nationally ranked teams this fall isn't too bad – and doesn't mean the athletic dept. is quite ready to fold up the tent over academic entrance requirements.

Willy P.? Good gravy! Best win in WPU history and worst Rowan loss since Jersey City State.

I forgot one thing yesterday :

Congrats to Willy P. and good luck to your program !!!!!!!!!
