Well, the njac is a mess.  beating each other.  the njac has 5 teams at 3-1.  rowan has wins against cnu and salisbury so they look to be in the drivers seat.  I am not sure how they won either game, but they did and that is all that matters.  They have Wesley in 2 weeks and if they win that and beat frostburg they win the title.  Salisbury still has CNU and Wesley left, and after yesterday's performance, based on d3jason's question, did not play two key players.  Hmmmm.  Wesley beat Frostburg, lost to CNU and still has Rowan and Salisbury left.  CNU has Frostburg and Salisbury left with a win over Wesley and a loss to Rowan.  Frostburg lost to Wesley and still has the other 3 left on the schedule so I do not see them hanging around.  Projecting on how I think it plays out and this is if Jones and Canonico are still playing for Salisbury.

Wesley 8-1 winning out
Rowan 7-2 losing to Wesley
Salisbury 7-2 losing to Wesley
CNU 7-2 losing to Salisbury
Frostburg 5-4 losing to Rowan, Salisbury, and CNU

Now, if the Gulls are having player issues, then CNU wins that game and goes 8-1 and wins title via h2h with Wesley.  If Wesley does not win the league they are in a tough spot for a pool c bid.  Del Val may win the MAC which would be good for Wesley and if they don't may be 8-2 with a win over Wesley.  The loser of the e8 game between alfred/fisher will be 9-1 if they both are undefeated going into the last game and probably the first team on the board from the east.  Hobart's loss yesterday and what looks like a likely loss to St. Lawrence puts them at 8-2 and behind Wesley in my opinion since Wesley will have wins over both Rowan and Salisbury.  But if Hobart beats St. Lawrence and wins the LL title, then you would have to figure a 9-1 St. Lawrence would be ahead of Wesley too.  I am not an expert at the pool C, but I think Wesley needs Del Val to win the MAC and St. Lawrence to beat Hobart.  Depending on the Stevenson/Widener result, Stevenson could end up 9-1 with a loss to DelVal so I will be cheering for Widener this Saturday, Wesley could be the second team on the board for the east.  Pool C from east board, if all plays out, Alfred/Fisher loser, Wesley, won't matter after that because 3 are not getting in from east.  That would be a very small hope to get in as a 2 loss pool c from the east.  Plenty has to go right for Wesley.  Win out and get help from someone against CNU and win the NJAC.
Wesley's definitely going to need some help before they are in control of their own destiny again.

It is nice to see EJ Lee and Jamar Baynard start to step up and carry the offense. Especially since it seems like the QB competition is not over.

It should be. Falkenberg does not bring enough to the game to start.  Stiff and slow reading plays.  Takes too long to throw the ball.  Kesack should start.  Yesterday's game meant nothing because it was against a bad team.

So do you think yesterday was more just getting Falkenberg getting work or the QB competition still going? I haven't been out that way so its hard for me to say.

Not sure, did not see much of the game and the video is so far away I did not even know that they had changed QB's.  I was watching more of the Rowan/Salisbury game.  I would hope they have settled on Kesack.  I wont be at the game this weekend either since I am going to the widener/stevenson game 5 mins from my house.

That gave me a headache!

It's nice to see other conferences beating each other into a pulp.

It'll only help the NJAC AQ in the playoffs!

85,
Make sure you bring yourself something to keep you awake if you make that trip to Frostburg! Definitely a pretty trip but not much else to look at!! The one thing you've got going for you is that it shouldn't be snowing! I remember when I made that trip with FT for a basketball game and it snowed up there and we drove home in it all the way back to about half way between Winchester and Warrenton. Not fun!

News as of yesterday: Joe Callahan got cut by the Packers. Apparently they needed to make room for Mike Pennell and perhaps another RB. Although it seems that if he clears waivers this afternoon, he will be signed to the practice squad.

This weeks games Frostburg at TCNJ - This game is interesting.  Both teams struggle on offense, TCNJ plays some good defense.  Not sure who will win this one, figuring Frostburg will score enough.  Montclair at CNU - CNU has struggled since beating Wesley, maybe the week off has allowed them to right the ship on offense.  Expecting CNU to win this one rather easily.  Rowan at So VA - not much here, Rowan is playing well, So VA not so much.  Rowan wins.  Salisbury at Willy P - Salisbury, are the starting QB and running back playing?  Probably does not matter, Salisbury wins easily.  Wesley at Kean - Wesley will have to play a clean game and they have been cutting down the turnovers, but they are the most penalized team in D3, that has to change.  Kean struggles on offense so Wesley should win this one easily.  If this week goes to form, 4 of the 1 loss teams play each other next week and the NJAC will start to become clearer.

I think Montclair will surprise CNU today. Not predicting a win but one never knows. ::)

need better play from the QB position if that is going to happen.

An illegal formation penalty stalls Wesleys first drive. Then a pass interference call keeps Kean on the field for their first TD. Frustrating!
