Callahan got picked up by the Browns..... not sure whether I should be excited or scared for him lol. Either way, he made enough noise in the preseason to get noticed by multiple teams. Great work Joe!

Hey Brown fans do exist, they can easily win 10 straight and hopefully complete the trifecta if the Indians were to win the World Series.
I am a Browns fan and a NE Ohio native, but I was more alluding to the fact that Cleveland goes through QBs like Darth Vader goes through admirals! Looks like Joe is listed as second string on the unofficial depth chart. Now I'm contemplating going to Cleveland this weekend or to Dover for the Montclair game.

The weather looks to be perfect for the Wesley game.  Partly cloudy and a high of 74.  Should be a good game and one Wesley cannot afford to look past!

I'm too lazy to look, but isn't there still a possibility that a handful of NJAC teams could end up tied with two losses each?  If so, a lot of things would probably have to fall into place, such as CNU winning out and Salisbury beating Wesley....

I think Rowan would have to lose and you guys beat Salisbury and Salisbury has to beat both Frostburg and Wesley.

could be a 4 way tie I believe.  Rowan beats frostburg and wins out; 2 losses.  CNU beats Salisbury and wins out; 2 losses.  Salisbury beats Wesley; Wesley has 2 losses.  The winner of Salisbury/Frostburg would also have 2 loses.  Fun tiebreaker there.  If it is head to head with the 4 teams involved, then the winner of the Salisbury/Frostburg game is huge.  Frostburg wins making the tie breaker Rowan, Wesley, CNU, and Frostburg; Wesley and Rowan would be 2 - 1, with Wesley beating Rowan so I think they get the AQ.  If Salisbury wins then it is Rowan, Wesley, Salisbury, and CNU; CNU and Rowan would be 2 -1 and Rowan beat CNU so I think they win the AQ.  I think I got that right.  In the end I just hope Wesley wins out and this will not matter at all.

Interesting games this week

Kean beats SoVA
Wesley beats Montclair
Willy P beats TCNJ
Then the 2 good ones
Salisbury beats CNU, cant believe how bad the Captains offense has gotten since the Wesley game.  But, may change if the Gulls starting QB is out.  Only loss was to Rowan when he did not play
Rowan beats Frostburg, not a fan of Rowan and their offense, but the D is tough and I am just not buying into Frostburg.

foregoing the trip to Dover today, dont think the game will be that good, for a walk to Widener to see them play Albright.

Frostburg just keeps winning. Have to give them credit after getting blown out by Wesley. If Salisbury wins today and beats Wesley next week Frostburg can win AQ by winning next 2 weeks.

No doubt!  They are the sleepers of the year in the NJAC.  Wesley must win against Salisbury.

Pretty good game for Wesley.  The running game was pretty sterile (at least in the first half), but the defense was the winner of the game today for the Wolverines. 4 interceptions with one pick six to seal the game. That said, MSU's rusher Distefano is an absolute beast.  He had 143 yards rushing.  He gave Wesley fits in the first half, however adjustments in the second neutralized him.  I was really impressed when the Wesley offense stalled in the 3rd that Coach Knapp went with the wildcat which kept MSU's defense guessing and kept the ball moving.  I am not sure why Falkenburg started the game instead of Kesack.  I was SO proud of Wesley's discipline on the field.  5 penalties for 35 yards.  YES!!!  So next week, the game of games.......

p.s.  I cannot remember the last time I have ever heard a louder, foul mouthed coach than I did today.  MSU's offensive coordinator (?) was just absolutely obnoxious on top of the press box.  F-bombs galore screaming into his headset.  Seriously, I have never seen a coach become unglued like that.  Sure, I have heard coaches go nuts, but you HAD to listen to this one.  He just would not stop railing whoever was the poor sap on the other end.  He was truly in a class all by himself.  If I was in the crowd, I would have yelled up at him to pipe it down.  It was even unnerving the Wesley coaching staff.

This is not the first time I've heard this particular complaint. He must be something

NJAC comes down to the last 2 weeks.  3 teams left, well unless all kinds of crazy goes on.  Salisbury wins out they win it.  Wesley wins out they win it.  Frostburg wins out they can win it if Salisbury beats Wesley.  As far as pool C goes, Frostburg is the only team that has a chance for that.  If they win out and go 9-1 they may get to the board, possibly first.  They will have a RR loss to Wesley.  Now that is if everything in the east goes to form, which means it probably won't.  Alfred wins the e8 means that Fisher has 2 losses.  St Lawrence wins LL means Hobart has 2 losses.  The only other team that would have one loss will be the losert of the WNEW and Salve Regina and I think the NJAC team would be ahead of either team.  Frostburg has a much better SOS than either WNEW or Salve and the RR loss is not a killer.  Still not sure if they would have a good enough resume to get selected, but being on the board from the start gives them a chance.  Now if Fisher wins the e8 and Hobart wins the LL putting Alfred and St. Lawrence into pool C, Frostburg would likely only be third in line.  I only think 1 east team gets selected this year from pool C so if you are not first up, you are not likely getting in.

Frostburg's defense must be pretty stout. It's not like their offense is lighting up the scoreboard in any of their games.

Thinking of making the trip out there next weekend. Should be a good one. It will all depend on which Wesley team shows up. I'm concerned with the offensive struggles this week and at the end of the Rowan game last week. The defense will have to show better than the 38 points they gave up last year to Salisbury. In last years game, Salisbury was able to throw for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns. The good news is that Wesley has historically performed well against the triple option. The 38 points that were given up last year were the most given up to Salisbury since 2004, and Salisbury has only gotten into the 20 point range three times since 2005 (38 in 2015, 27 in 2013, and 21 in 2008).

Well, that was a disaster. Actually, we are lucky the game wasn't worse than it was. We were in it until the fourth quarter. We were out of it mentally in the first quarter. The coach said it best in post game interview. You play football with pads, not your mouth. Our guys were more into yapping against the other team and arguing with the officials. Coach said he is the only one allowed to argue and he feels he does a good job doing so. Had we kept our composure we would have won that game easily. After games (win or lose) the team meets in the end zone near the band for a quick post game speech and then the band plays the alma mater. Saturday night, the coach ran everyone to the locker room and let them know exactly how he felt.

The offense was clicking early. Penalties and a few blown plays in crucial situations kept giving SU more opportunities and they are too good to not capitalize on them. And they are well coached. So, I knew we were in trouble even when the score was tied at 24.

Like coach said on radio...if the senior leadership doesn't step up, we could end up 5-5.

It's ashame CNU has really struggled after such a promising start...I don't see Wesley losing to Salisbury.

I expect Wesley to win the game, but I can certainly see them losing if they play sloppy like they did in the 2 games they lost earlier.
