I have been around a lot of Rowan football over the years, and that was the worst lost I've seen since Ornstein lost to Jersey City and threw like 4 or 5 ints.

I think that unless they put Wright at QB, myself as all of the other Prof faithful better start getting excited about basketball season for the Profs.

Don't get too excited NJCU is back this year.

Concerning using Wright at Qb, I have never seen him play, could he run the offense or would they have to simplfy it?  Has he played qb before and in what type of offense?

And in a side note, the NJCU womens Volleyball team won the NJAC conference regular and tournament championship and play #2 seededIthaca on Thursday at host school NYU.  This is the first womens team championship in the history of JCSC/NJCU.

Wright could definitely play qb for Rowan.  He was a qb at Glassboro High School from where he was recruited as a qb at Division I East Carolina.

I saw him play in high school and the kid has a rocket arm and we all know what an athlete he is.

He has been an integral part of the offense for the last two years, and he absolutely couldn't do any worse then what we have had the last couple of weeks.

I think going with this option is the only chance we have at any playoff dignity.

It appears that everyone is hunkering down for the big game on Saturday. Both teams want a win real bad. For Montclair a win may get us an ECAC bid and a win for Rowan gets them to the Dance. Should be a heck of a game.

OK, Montclair : have a great week of pratice and on Saturday play hard, play smart, play like a team, and have a lot of heart for 60 minutes. Good luck. ;)

LET'S  GO  MIGHTY  RED  HAWKS  !!!!!!!!!!
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Should be interesting.  Montclair is PO'd at Rowan for losing to Willy P and knocking the Red Hawks out of the NCAA playoffs. Rowan is PO'd for losing to Willy P, knocking the Profs from the top perch in the East Region.

The real crappy thing is that the East bracket is most likely dropping from 2nd to 4th ranked nationally.  That means that the winner of the East region will be traveling a long way.  Probably to Oregon.

pat has anything changed as far as what you said the other day about msu having a shot at a pool c, even lets just say cortland loses this week and like two other top ten east region teams and we win, does that help us at all?? I know I may be beating a dead horse sorry

tecmobowler

It's not going to happen.  There are about nine one loss teams shooting for seven pool C bids.  Montclair isn't going to get in over two loss teams in the OAC such as Capital or Ohio Northern.
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

JT--  WHAT IF:  There are no undefeated teams in the "East" bracket after this weekend.  Very possible with DVC and Union playing opponents capable of winning.  How would that change the bracket lineup?  Everyone input please!!

Rowan has to win to get in, no question!!  Add to the scenario, that RU takes the NJAC and possibly IC losing in the Cortaca game. (could hurt IC & SJF rankings)

Its possible that-- SJF,IC, Union, Hobart, RPI, DVC, Rowan, and another all have one loss after next week!!  Who gets the top seed?? :-\

msuredhawk,

I'm as wacko a Red Hawk fan as you can get. The only shot we have is maybe an ECAC bid, and that would do the team a lot of good, but first let's take care of business this Sat. Stop by the Black Durango for for a burger or a dog. Let's get some fan support down to Glassboro. :)

ACMob,

The answer to your question is Montclair. Only Kidding. ;) Good luck to both teams, but we could sure use the ECAC as a building block for the program. :)

Dave-- your a TRUE FAN??   Good luck this week-- on your tailgating!! ;D

It's tough for MSU-- RU should beat WP, but that's why the games are played.  Fortunately for Rowan, they still have an opportunity to win and be in, however, now I'd say this week's game in closer to a toss-up. :-\

You really need to stop exaggerating so much.
