Went to Trenton. The running game was clicking today. Burroughs adds a different look. His number was called a fee times today on qb draws. The pass blocking was good also. TCNJ didn't blitz every play like Del Val. Wesleys secondary played well. It looks like fr Stefon Woodtuff may be the next dominant D lineman. He was  beast today

Tough loss for CNU Saturday night...not sure why you run the ball up the gut three times in a row from your own 3 yard line when you've only rushed for 8 yards until that point...the result was a net loss of two yards and punting from the end zone.  Luckily, the Captains were able to keep Frostburg from scoring after they punted, but I'm still baffled by the play calling on that series...the winning touchdown for the Bobcats was on an all out blitz from CNU, but I still don't think their receiver was supposed to be that wide open...oh well, the Captains gambled and lost...what can you say?  Still proud of the players and how they competed, though...hoping they can hang on and finish next time!  All in all, it's been a good start to the season, given all the question marks...it will be interesting to see how they respond after a tough loss.

I was impressed how well CNU played Frostburg.  The Caps are not pushovers in the NJAC and their performances shows the  high quality of the new NJAC teams in glowing terms.  I just hope the Wesley secondary is ready for CNU when they play them late in the season!

I was pleasantly surprised myself, Ski, especially after Frostburg went ahead 14-3...it looked like it was going to be a long night, but to their credit, the Captains got back in the game and had 'em on the ropes...as I mentioned, very proud of their effort.  CNU needs to work on their run game...hard to beat a good team being one dimensional...unfortunately for CNU, Wesley will have long had all the kinks worked out by the time they play, darn it!  ;)

Swish3,

Unless you are really good at your craft, in a couple weeks will there be a 400+ rushing game and 400+ passing game between us? Not looking forward to that, it always ends poorly for the team that has to do the opposite to win.

Watch out for the Red Hawks this week.  ;D
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

It's certainly possible, MANDGSU, as Salisbury typically has the best triple option offense in D3, while CNU's passing game seems to be well ahead of their running game at this point.

I've been told the Voice of The Captains, will give a shout out while on air to all the NJAC board fans for your kind words. Although the game will have the video feed from Montclair. You can check out how to listen to CNU radio in the attached and you can also go to xtra99.com and the station starts playing when the page loads. I've experienced slight delays between away game video feeds and CNU radio.....depends on the video feed. Good luck to everyone (except MSU)!!  ;D

Something tells me this will be a tough game for CNU...hoping they come away w/a solid road win.

Third week in a row and not attending any game.  Plan was to go see the Rowan/Frostburg game, but I am not a fan of sitting in 90 degrees and watching a game that I dont have a son playing in.  Will have to catch a few games on the computer.

Halftime. I'm liking the stats, but not the scoreboard. 6-0 is not enough. And what's the deal with the coach going for 2?  He's done that a few times this year when it makes no sense. D looks stout. 2 more picks by Noel. CNU entered game #2 in nation in forced turnovers. Add 2 more. MSU has 60 total yards. 50 came on this last drive.
