Should be a fun game.

Wilkes plays a hard, physical brand of ball led by their two LBs Tyler Henninger and Kyle Follweiler.

The offense is a balanced one after it primarily ran through All-American RB Brett Trichilo last year.  Coach Frank Sheptock and Offensive Coordinator Tim McNulty (former Kings Point Head Coach) have done a great job with this team.  Jim Jordan is a nice receiver and the Wilkes offensive line is solid.  If QB Al Karaffa plays well, this should be a good one.

I agree GM!  Always welcome MAC vs NJAC matchups. :)

Two teams in from both leagues makes a statement. 8) 8)

This board seems pretty dead considering we have two teams from the conference in the NCAA's and more than likely two in the ECAC's

Here's hoping for an all-NJAC East region final ;D

Bring on the COLONELS and the MAC. Let's send them packing just like Del Val last year!

Congrats also to Cortland. All the best in the playoffs until we meet in the finals!

Dr/JT

I assume you are both making the trip to Gboro on Sat?

Dr. xGSC

It is only a 20 minute ride for me, so Lord willing, I will be there! How about you?

As I am flying solo as Mr Mom this week and weekend, what better way to babysit, than to bundle up the kid, and watch a MAC/NJAC playoff battle...unless I can convince the grandparents to spend the day with him... ;)

Dr. xGSC

Sounds to me like the Grandparents should step in and spoil their grandchild for an afternoon.

I'll be there.  Hopefully I'll get press creds.  Last year it got pulled at the last minute.  I'm going as the d3football.com East Region correspondent.  Recognized by ESPN and the NCAA's as a media outlet.

Montclair game photos are up.  Like the Profs JT was on his game Saturday, best photos of the year so far. 59 pics - 3 minute slideshow. Game story to follow later.  Still have to finish WPU photos.

If they will be home, they will be glad to do it...we'll see...they have been busy lately...either way I will be there....

Dave-- you got your wish--  MSU VS WU!!  GOOD LUCK!! :)

ACMob,

You're correct. I was really surprised. ;D let's see what these kids are made of. You have to play for 60 minutes(hard, smart and with heart). They played that way for about 22 minutes into the game and then disappeared. The rest is history. The O can not be so predictable. I never played competitive football, and I know when they will run and when they will pass. Maybe I'm missing something and should keep my mouth shut, but that hasn't stopped me before. This can be a great building block for next year. Let's make it happen.

LET'S  GO  MIGHTY  RED  HAWKS  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Dan-- Cortland earned their bid.  GOOD LUCK against Hobart this week.  I'm hopeful that both NJAC teams can do some damage and meet in the regional finals-- that would really  :o :o :o some of the outsiders!!

Again good job and thanks for supporting the conf.. 8)
