Wesley does have some interesting transfers on their list who could make an immediate impact. Listening to the press conference on Facebook, they have Ruhann Peele from Rutgers who played both ways there. He's taken some time off football, so that is always interesting. They have Nazir Williams from UConn to restock at linebacker. Another JUCO-transfer: Marcellus Pack could make an impact on offense. He set all kinds of records at Dover High, and I think he was solid at whatever JUCO school he was at if I recall right. Gonna be interesting to see how they get him touches.

Very interested to see the 2018 version of the Wesley Wolverines.... for a lot of reasons.

The Rowan roster has not been published, but there are a few transfers on the team (former D2 guys including a QB and WR).  Will know more once the roster/depth chart come out over the next 2 weeks.
Go Rowan! Brown & Gold!

Hey CNU85, if you want to see something funny, take a look at Mary Hardin Baylor's current 2018 football roster.  I've never seen a roster with so many players.

Take a look at Mount Union's roster, around 140 freshmen alone. Typically have 200-250 on the roster. Who wouldn't want to play for the Raiders or the Cru? ☠🏈
I'm old! I get mixed up and I forget things! Go Everybody! 🏈 ☠

I was looking at the CRU's roster because of the article about Mount Union's QB transferring to the CRU. This prized QB is listed as an un-numbered QB among a sea of dozens of other un-numbered players - the list of WRs was endless. Which team need 43 WRs or 13 QBs?? lol   ;D

Below is a quick breakdown of their rosters and positions.

dlip always figures the Wolverines will be top notch in the region and most likely top 10-15 in the nation. What a program!

Man dlip would love to see the Profs have some big time success again. Best of luck to the profs this season!

There does seem to be a plethora of QB's and WR's. I agree with you. Is that really necessary? Merely wanted to point out the fact that Mount has a bunch as well.
Good luck to the Profs on the year. We have played a few games together in the past. Need a little success in Glassboro. Go Profs and Go Raiders! ☠🏈

Also, since we haven't chatted before, I should inform you that I'm old. I get mixed up and I forget things. (That 57 in my sign-on is the year I graduated from Mount Union. OK, 1957 not 1857).

Please to meet you! My post meant no disrespect, I was simply amazed by the sheer numbers of players that come out for these teams (the fruits of winning).  Rowan had a big freshman class last year, but many of those guys are no longer on the team (attrition or the realization that they would not see the field).

The Mount Union and Rowan battles are before my time (I graduated from RU in '08), but the videos can be found on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3ksTzxUquk&t=1282s

Never saw any disrespect on your part. No problem!
Yes, success is a good recruiting tool. Brings in lots of players. And Mount also loses a few freshmen every year. When they realize the coaches will work them pretty hard AND they find themselves number 6 on the depth chart, well......!
Nice to see some new people on the boards. Pat Coleman and staff provide an outstanding forum for us to discuss Dlll football. Maybe that's why they call it "d3football.com"! How about that!
Again, best to Rowan this year. I'm giving you a +k to help you get going. Best to you as well! ☠🏈

Thank you for the welcome and +k. I'm still very new to this forum, I don't know how to give +k or edit my posts :)  I graduated from Rowan, and I'm a big fan. But my #1 team is Navy, I have spent many many years on their Boards. They are a small, but passionate, crew.

I followed Capital for a while a few years back when they had former Navy QB, Craig Candeto, as their Head Coach. They played in a tough conference which included Mount Union. Candeto never really got things going at Captial, but I learned a lot about the conference. I read a good article about MU, which said they would get the guys who incredibly athletic but just an inch too short or a pound too light for the big schools, but perfectly OK to dominate in D3.

Thank you again for the warm welcome, best of luck to Mount Union! Hopefully Rowan will get things turned around so we could see another match-up between these 2 schools.
Go Rowan! Brown & Gold!

Looks like Wesley has a stud QB on campus.
Are you talking about Khaaliq Burroughs?

#3. Wagenhoffer. ONly a Fr but wait a couple of years. He turned down some offers from other schools. Perhaps some of the offers were  PWO status. But still. Also seems to excel at other sports....so a decent athlete. From what I read... a good arm.
