Take a look at Mount Union's roster, around 140 freshmen alone. Typically have 200-250 on the roster. Who wouldn't want to play for the Raiders or the Cru? ☠🏈

That's about 10-12% of total enrollment.

There does seem to be a plethora of QB's and WR's. I agree with you. Is that really necessary? Merely wanted to point out the fact that Mount has a bunch as well.
Good luck to the Profs on the year. We have played a few games together in the past. Need a little success in Glassboro. Go Profs and Go Raiders! ☠🏈

Also, since we haven't chatted before, I should inform you that I'm old. I get mixed up and I forget things. (That 57 in my sign-on is the year I graduated from Mount Union. OK, 1957 not 1857).
Please to meet you! My post meant no disrespect, I was simply amazed by the sheer numbers of players that come out for these teams (the fruits of winning).  Rowan had a big freshman class last year, but many of those guys are no longer on the team (attrition or the realization that they would not see the field).

The Mount Union and Rowan battles are before my time (I graduated from RU in '08), but the videos can be found on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3ksTzxUquk&t=1282s

Literally. With 219 players.....some would not be able to see the filed from the sidelines during the game!

Likewise, Navy also has a massive roster of players.  One major benefit is it allows them to run the 1's against complete scout teams (vs 1's vs 1's). Some guys spend their entire career on the scout team (the Red Beanie Raiders as they like to be called).  This allows them to better prepare for opponents.

The Rowan roster has not been published, but there are a few transfers on the team (former D2 guys including a QB and WR).  Will know more once the roster/depth chart come out over the next 2 weeks.
Rowan's QB transfer is a stud, just check out this highlights... http://www.hudl.com/video/3/2828158/57e7e8483bd8140b84c4dcf7

Rowan struggled at QB last season (in total the QBs had massive negative yardage rushing), it will be great to have a guy with wheels taking snaps and gaining yards and extending plays. If Couzzi or Giles (another fast QB) can win the starting role, then the Profs will be an improve team in 2018.

Kid looks very good. He certainly had some ****ing stud receivers as well. Is Couzzi the transfer? If so where is he transferring from?

Transfer from Pace

Side note: Rowan's 2018 Roster has been published - looks like an early version since photos and numbers are missing for the new guys.  I'll have more comments once I have time to review the new list in detail.

By the numbers.....just for fun. CNU roster has:

13 All-State high school players
4 All-State Track guys
1 All State soccer guy
A bunch of wrestlers
1 All-American track guy
2 transfers each from -- JUCO, D2 and D1
1 Eagle Scout
And an assistant coach who's son plays for the Ravens

(After I was half way through the roster, I realized many were high school National Honor Society members-- but I didn't go back and count. I'm guessing 25-30%)

See -- wasn't that fun!?

Excited for the new season and the new players on each team. Hoping for a great season and exciting football within NJAC.

Is Wesley scrimmaging Albright Thursday? Or someone else?

RowanPhan

Any ideas why Stephon Woodruff (2016 UDEL, 2017 NJAC Rookie of the Year) is no longer on Wesley's roster?  Big loss for both the NJAC and Wesley.

Little by little getting through the Kickoff! team reports for NJAC schools. The crew did a stellar job!

He was in some kind of trouble. Can't really say what, but I know he was suspended vs. Brockport in the playoffs.
