I came across this article tonight - sorry if it was already posted here. Just thought it was a good story and representative of D3 as a whole -

Frosty fans, I was watching the ITH radio podcast last night and learned that no makeup date for the CNU game is scheduled.  Hobart has a 9 game schedule as well and an open date on 9/29....just sayin'...

That would be great. The time would be now if it was to occur. I thought UCF and West Virginia were going to play each last week after their cancellations, but with such short notice and logistics, its hard to find room & Board for the size of the teams (mayble neutral site). I'm pretty sure Frostburg Coach would play with a day's notice... ;D
Yeah, I bet logistics are probably hard to make games like that work on short notice. Doesn't Hobart usually only stick with a 9 game season anyway?

It's still their Homecoming. Maybe they'd like a football game.

Frostburg coaches had exhausted many avenues for making up the CNU and possibly persuing another game. A lot of the efforts fell through. Just have to go beat wesley and call it a day.
I hope they beat Wesley too, and but overlook Rowan in the process ;)

That wasn't going to happen. I will say i was impressed with the Rowan QB. One of the few kids over the years that Frostburg hadnt made quit during the middle of a game.

Here's at least one more non quitter....I'm sure there are dozens more.

2017 v F'Burg

PASSING            C-A          YDS   LG   TD   INT
K.j. Kearney   21-34   319   34   4   1

If only i could show you film from 2016 when that same qb fell on the ground instead of getting hit.

He almost beat the Bobcats last year, if CNU doesn't bust a coverage late and forget to cover the tight end.

Going to get an idea (at least by proxy) of how Wesley and Frostburg compare this weekend in the Del Val-Stevenson matchup in the MAC. The transitive property isn't always reliable but it is something to speculate on come game day.

Oh shoot...he brings out the "transitive property"....+1 for that! Nicely done!

Thank you sir! Now the only question is if I used it in the right context. :D

Well done but not sure how good the comparison is going to be. Stevenson came out EXTREMELY flat against Frostburg. Frostburg hit one really good bomb, but ran decently. Stevenson definitely had some nice running on them especially when it went a bit more outside than rather up the middle. If Frostburg hasn't fixed it up; then teams have a weakness to exploit there.

Big weekend today for NJAC ... kickoff starts at 1pm

1 PM Salisbury @ Willy Patterson
1 PM Wesley @ SVU
6 PM CNU @ Rowan
7 PM Montclair @ Kean
Go Rowan! Brown & Gold!

rams1102

The NJAC is really interesting. You have Montclair & Salisbury undefeated and in the Top 10 in the ERFP, until they play Wesley & Frosty. Rowan was there and now gone and I feel the same will happen to Montclair and Salisbury. Also I am a Montclair homer. ;D A one loss team in the NJAC may make the dance but Jupiter will have to align with Mars for that to happen for the Red Hawks and the Gulls. That's why we are fans and why they play the game. A betting person would say Montclair and Salisbury cannot do it but as a fan I believe we have a shot.

Go Red Hawks, 110-60, Stay The Course and "Keep Pounding."
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Really lethargic effort by Wesley thus far. Disappointing.

Moving the ball with ease so far, but they've only held it for 10 minutes. SVU doing their best to keep to their gameplan. Wesley needs to get a few quick stops and get their defense off the field.

Touching that first punt and gifting SVU possession kind of set the tone. WDEL guys noted that Wesley seemed a bit flat.

thewaterboy

Wesley with Cappadonna Miller and Nick Glover done for the day.
