Very much excited for these NJAC slates this weekend. I've decided not to travel to Delaware and instead watch some good DIII games while getting some fall cleaning achieved. I think the Frostburg State and Wesley game is going to either be a close one or a 4th qtr runaway. Both teams have played well, but both have to get over a "down" week. Early prediction is Frostburg 21 Wesley 34. I think it'll be close until the 4th. Now regarding the Salisbury vs. CNU game, this is another game that can go either way. CNU has been tested, however I expect the game will come down to big plays from either side, which defense will limit the big play. I would give the nod to CNU, but I am to much of a homer, so I'll go Salisbury 28 CNU 24, with Salisbury defense ending the game with a late interception. I think the other NJAC games are easy picks. Montclair State 38 TCNJ 7. Kean gets their 1st win of the season by beating William Patterson 21-14. Lastly, both Rowan and Southern Virginia gets to play the same team called BYE, should be eventful. Safe travels to everyone and injury free games for players, and as always a W for the Seagulls.

LOL!  Yep, I suppose the Frostburg defense will actually have to play the second half this time....::)

Frostburg v Wesley, should be a good one.  I have not seen either team play yet this year so I am not sure what to expect.  Wesley was in total control last year until the fumble at the goal line followed by a long run allowed Frostburg to climb back into the game.  In the end Wesley was able to pull it out in OT.  If Wesley's defense has improved from last year and it sounds like it has then I expect Wesley to win the game by 10 - 14.  If they have not improved it will be just like last year.  The weather will have no impact on the game.  Looking forward to finally getting to a game.

CNU is .500 in the NJAC since they've joined. They are also ran's who ran from Frostburg when given all of the incentives in the world to play the game. Wesley is a class above else it's going to be a good game and i will be there for it.

and having been at every CNU vs FSU football game since they've both joined the NJAC. CNU is not a physical team, again the game film doesnt lie.

Considering CNU's campus was closed and used as a staging area for potential recovery operations from Florence, I don't think you can fault the football team for this.

Why do you watch the film if you're at the game? I think it would be easier to just watch the game since you are there.

This weekend game against SU will be interesting. Something has to give.

SU is #1 in rushing offense in the Nation -- over 460 yds per game.
CNU's aforementioned non physical defense is ranked #6 in the nation, allowing only 33 yds per game

This will be fun to watch! (I hope!)

How good are Frostburg and Wesley compared to lets say the Rowan teams in the late 90's and early 2000's? I played at Montclair from 01 to 05 (injury red shirt in 03). I played against that 01 Rowan Team at the time I believe we (Montclair) were ranked 4th or 5th in the Country and we got spanked wow they were good. I also can remember watching their 99 and 2000 team and thinking they looked like a d1 squad. Montclair did upset them I think one of those years to win the conf and then lost to them in the playoffs. I believe that was the year Rowan finally beat Mount Union and got upset in the finals but that school on the west coast who was small but very fast beat them in the stag bowl. My question for anyone here who remembers that era, do you think this Wesley/Frostburg team could have competed with that era of Rowan football?

Well that's a tough one. Rowan was certainly tough back then. I remember one close game in '04. we finally beat Rowan in 2007. That was first and only game that I was the analyst on the radio.  One thing is certain, back then the bagpipe guy leading the team to the field was awesome!

An actual guy playing a bagpipe, or are you figuratively speaking about Keeler?
