Stevenson, strength of schedule weaker than MSU, common opponent Frostburg, they lost 34-7, we lost 24-17, starting qb out for year, Cortland 2 losses, weaker sos, not sure what other criteria is, can someone please explain?

Stevenson 1st week loss against Frostburg on a Thursday night, who also lost their game and starting QB against Del Val (another top 25 team on this rankings).

Montclair is getting hosed IMO, but there is a possibility that no east region team goes Pool C. So that point may be moot.

Frostburg-Salisbury will be a close, low scoring affair. I expect Frostburg to pull it out, but Salisbury getting an upset would not surprise me at all either. The past two matchups between the two teams have been close with Salisbury on the losing end. Salisbury could be due.

Wesley hoping to end the regular season (assuming they play an ECAC game) on a high note against CNU. Wondering if we will see some new faces (especially on offense). Knocking off Salisbury was needed to show that Wesley can still win a big game and of course, it always looks good knocking off an undefeated rival. Now however, its time to get guys ready for next year by getting them solid, meaningful playing time.

It's way too quiet in here with the all important NJAC championship being played in 24 hours!

It's because we are in the eye of the storm...

It's going to be a good one. Cant wait until it starts.

I dont think the game will be that close.  Salisbury will have trouble scoring, not sure of the status of the starting qb injured last week, but they havent scored much all year against good defenses.  Frostburg will do enough to make the game comfortable in the second half.

I agree with the waterboy. Montclair got hosed. I did not expect to get Pool C consideration but thought we would make it in the NCAA Regional Rankings especially with our record and SOS 572. I hope the boys put the pedal to the metal today and keep this successful season rolling into 2019. "Keep Pounding"
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Wow, just not good.  Too much offensive skill position talent to keep turning the ball over.  17 ints on the year.

Gotta wonder if Wesley doesn't have any other viable options at QB behind Burroughs

Not sure if this is a new QB for Salisbury, but the offense looks way better than it did last week.  21 already in the first half.  Frostburg is in for a tough one.

Hmmm.  Not sure, but their is too much skill to keep throwing int's killing drives.  Next year is going to be very interesting.  Plenty of receivers, is there someone to get them the ball.

The first half of the Wesley game is such a microcosm of the season.  Frustrating as hell.  Burroughs has two interceptions in the 1st quarter, including one in the end zone from the 10 yard line.  On another run down the field, Wesley gets an unsportsmanlike with 1st and goal on the 5 with an ejection to Eagle, the TE.  I just want this season done and gone and get a reset for next year with a new QB and a new outlook.  This season has been an absolute travesty of mistakes.  Wesley is such a good team and the errors they committed this year became too many for each game they lost.   Sports psychologist anyone?

O line play is not good enough.  When they need a pass play more often than not the o line gives up a pass rush or sack killing any chance of a successful play.

I think the ejection was a lineman.....

Frostburg State dodges entire cannon balls and wins the NJAC in overtime 38-35.

And the season ends in the only way it could.  A 4 interception performance and a 16-14 loss, giving Wesley it's worst season since 2003, the last time Wesley went 6-4.  Wow.  5 points covered the 4 losses....... Well, that takes care of any ECAC bowl, so I guess I have the next week off, hey?  Mmmm, what do I do?  Contemplate the meaning of life, I guess.

p.s.  Anybody know the record number of interceptions in a single season?

CNU85

Dylan Curran 16 - Wesley 14. He started season as punter. Today hits from 32, 45 and 47. Plus his TD run and extra point

I think it is more like Wesley errors 16 - Wesley 14......  You know this is the case when a team produces 428 yards of offense, losing to a team that had but 221.......
