In the following artilce, looks like Wesley has big injurines at RB. "Knapp said on Wednesday that the Wolverines' top two running backs, E.J. Lee and Abae Mansaray, are both sidelined. He said Lee is expected to have surgery and miss the rest of the season because of a foot injury that has bothered him since last season."

Well  that sucks!  :(  Thanks for the heads up.  That said, I think there is depth at RB, so I don't expect the running game to vanish.  It will certainly be impacted though......

p.s. Nice Ninja RowanPhan!
Thanks, it was a slow day at the office  :D
Go Rowan! Brown & Gold!

Based on what I saw of Rowan and the struggles of the Wesley offense I think they will have trouble reaching 20 against Rowan.  Hopefully the defense can keep a struggling Rowan offense in the teens also.  At least the weather, temp wise, will be good for football this weekend.
Hobart had their best passing game against Rowan and saw weaknesses in their pass defense. If Mullin can repeat the Endicott performance it should be a good day for Wesley. Rowan is by far the best 0-3 team in the East and will be hungry to upset the Wolverines again , but if Wesley limits TOs it should be their game .
As far as Montclair State and Salibury, I think the upset is certainly possible, as MSU has some intense hitters on defense, and their QB  has a strong arm and can do damage if he limits the INTs.
I was impressed with the physical toughness of both Rowan and MSU and just happy Hobart came away with 2 wins.
I think if Wesley struggles to get 20 against Rowan, there's a problem and Wesley really needs to start exploring other options on offense.... hopefully Mullin is the cure.

Wesley only scored 20 on Endicott.  I would venture to guess that Rowan has just as good a defense, if not better.  Didn't Mullin play the entire game against Endicott?  If so what makes you believe that the offense will suddenly produce more points.
Nopes... "In the win over Endicott, Mullin completed 22-of-27 passes for 253 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions — all in the second half."

Rowan will have their hands full.

Thanks Rowanphan for the info.  I have not had much time to follow, but if that is the second half only then maybe there will be improvement.  He did not do as well in the Del Val game.
That's my concern: Which is the real Jon Mullin? And how long does Wesley take in NJAC play to figure it out?

With Frostburg gone, I'm not too concerned with Wesley and the NJAC. Just my opinion. I'm also hearing about some HUGE 'potential' changes coming at the end of this year with a couple of the NJAC schools. It is going to cause a real scramble situation with those remaining (no, Wesley to the MAC will NEVER be an option now that there are 11 football playing schools).

I'm curious to know what you may think those changes would be also? Unless the affiliate members decide to move south into the USAC and/or CNU joins the ODAC. It would be Pool B all over again. Or some of the NJAC schools join the ECFC. Regardless it would be turmoil.

I can't speak to your other possibilities, but this one won't be happening; the ODAC has always been very straightforward about being and remaining a conference for private schools only. Although I think a number of people would love to have CNU in the league, the private school policy is pretty entrenched.

Well maybe Wesley then...Regardless, I think the only option would be to work a deal out with some of the MAC schools, since they have over 11 or 12 schools already.

Had a chance to listen to ATN Podcas 247 (http://www.d3blogs.com/d3football/2019/10/04/atn-podcast-247-the-one-with-buy-or-sell/) this morning on my way to work. Loved everything that Coach Sherman Wood spoke about Dustin Johnson (HC @ William Patterson). I had the pleasure of playing for Coach Wood and being around Dustin for a short time. Coach Wood is a better man than Coach and his responses were definitely spot on. I enjoyed his answer regarding scheduling UW-Oshkosh and mentioning that winning championships typically go through the WIAC, so why not schedule them. Then his response in terms of being one of the few coaches that happen to be African American, spoke volumes. I know having played under him, he never saw color in a community where racial differences come up every now and then. He molds and creates a foundation for young men to become brother's regardless of color or creed. I also enjoyed his take on the administrative challenges, which occurs when different President's and AD's come in and have varying philosophies on how important Football and Sports in general should be considered for the University. Pat and Keith spoke about some of the struggling programs and if Football was important to keep around. I know that a few year's back Salisbury had to deal with a SAT and G.P.A Floor requirement, which resulted in a number of recruits not being eligible to attend the university, having to go to a community college and such just to enroll. This definitely played out on competing against some of the top teams. That 2011 team that went to the quarters were the last of recruits not restricted with the floor. Coach Wood and the rest of the coaching staff have done a tremendous job handling the change since then and have used that as a challenge.

7-7 at the half.... Wesley still finding struggles offensively.. but the defense makes a fantastic stop at the goal line to keep it even.
Mullin throws a bad interception after Wesley D recovers a fumble. It'll be interesting to see what happens.... Rowan has done a good job of keeping Wesley's offense off the field.

Marrocco got the start and again proves he can't throw down field. Must be something happening behind the scenes after Mullin was named the starter earlier this week.

Teamski

Dunno why Wesley didn't start Mullin.  Rowan's running back is tough, causing Wesley's D some problems.  Rowan is a good team for sure.  Hope Wesley does their usual 2nd half kick-in.

Horrible play calling by the Profs to end the half... Profs have left tons of points on the field this season

So frustrating to watch.... this offense is probably the worst it has been in the past 14 years. Shout out to the defense for playing outstanding all game long. Mullin with 3 fumbles (1 lost) and an INT.... if this team does get into the playoffs, QB play STILL has to improve. Geez Time to work hard in practice with a roadtrip to Salisbury upcoming.

Rowan played tough to the end.  Feel bad for the Rowan lineman who had a really bad leg injury.  I hope he does well in his recovery.  Wesley's defense saves the day once again having to compensate for offensive miscues. Two goal line stands to go with the win.  The game would have been more in Wesley's  favor if the offense didn't fumble the ball into their own endzone gifting a TD to Rowan in the 4th.  Got to see Joe Callahan after the game which as a treat.

Need to stick with Mullin to get stability into the offense.

Callahan sat right behind me during the game.
My son told me about the Rowan players leg, said during the tackle he heard it break twice that was the reason he ran off the field calling for the Medical trainer.
Hoping for a speedy recovery for the young man
