Big game for Rowan tomorrow against on the road CNU. I know both teams have been struggling this year, but this could be the type of game where CNU could have break out against Rowan's soft offense.

Fingers crossed for the Profs.
The video feed from CNU doesn't appear to be on...  will have to follow along via Rowan Radio. So far, Rowan is making CNU look like a top 25 team on offense
Go Rowan! Brown & Gold!

Wesley with an absolutely atrocious half offensively. 13-12 Kean as they score after a long kick return.

Marrocco has replaced Mullin at QB.

This is how to lose a game.  In the first quarter alone Wesley got two passes intercepted (one a pick 6) and a fumble down on the two yard line.  Later racked up a nice clutch of penalties giving Kean every opportunity to score.  This is a classic Wesley meltdown to a lesser team. Frustrating as hell.  Now hoping that Wesley brings a second half game.

Approaching half time in Virginia as the Profs finally find the end zone (much help from CNU penalties on the drive). Rowan 7, CNU 20
Go Rowan! Brown & Gold!

Refs are horrible. You cannot decline a false start.

I googled to see what the rule book states, and it appears to be a debated topic on the intrawebs. What I found: "Generally penalties can be declined. ... However, certain penalties, mostly of the pre-snap kind on the offense, mean that no play took place (play is blown dead prior to the snap) and not accepting the penalty means that the down is replayed at the same spot on the field rather than 5 yards further back."

Either way.. you guys got your 3 points instead of a FG block  ;)  no breaks for Rowan

The ref throws his flag. Turns on his mic and says no penalty. Then picks up his flag. 🤣🤣

Important drive for the Profs to start the 4th quarter.  Husni seems to have settled down..

Wesley wins 27-13. Offense was just about as bad as the officiating. Next week won't be a gimme game.

The WDEL guys said it best about the QB position. Coaches have shown plenty of patience with both Mullin and Marrocco, yet neither one can really step up and win the job.

Wesley does get some help in the pool C conversation as Ithaca goes down. JCU sneaks by Heidelberg just now 17-13. ONU beats B-W making JCU the only 1-loss OAC team. JCU and B-W are set to square off next week.

Rowan holds on for the win. CNU made it close at the end by moving all the way to the 2 yard line with 30 seconds on the clock; however a fumble [on what looked like a philly special type call] leads to the Profs win.

Wesley's defense stepped up in spite of some critical pass interference calls.  Credit to Kean being a tough nut to crack.  The Marroco  interception in the 4th was embarrassing even though he started to make some good connections.

I thought Marrocco managed the game more effectively than Mullin today... but youre right, that interception was bad.

.....add that Wesley had 11 penalties for 98 yards...

25 offensive points against a 3-loss team (18 until 1 min to go in the 4th) is not what you want to see...

This game was the first Wesley game I have seen where the Wolverines attempted 2 fake punts.  Both succeeded too!
