RUFan,

I was waiting for the day the Profs would have a fan like you.  Dale would give Ric (mtunionfootball.com) crap like you give me.  You just don't care... that's cool. You understand that I have to be objective because of my many duties.

xGSC and I have been trying to figure out who you are.  If you want to remain anonymous that's fine.  If you want to show yourself that's cool too. Hope to see you in Alliance.

Will be leaving around 9:00 Friday form South Jersey and picking up another Prof fan in Florence.  Then picking up another Prof fan in Carlisle, Pa.  Will be going out in a Subaru Outback.  Could take another Prof's fan in need of a ride.

rowanlb92,

Right now, I'm planning to get out there by Friday morning and hit the HOF. I'm planning to drive out to the Ohio/PA border on Thursday.  Then cruise into Canton on Fri morning.  I'll stay at the team hotel.

JT,
Where did you find the prices for the flights.  On expedia, they were more than double the prices you found.

JT

rowanlb92,

Go to www.sidestep.com that is where I got the prices.  It a multi fare search engine.

Are you trying to get a response to this?  Dallas is like 1100 miles from Salem?  Are you looking for attention or just genuinely dumb?

I cannot defend Mangus' remarks beyond saying he was rather emotional in the press conference.

Relative to his previous two performances against Rowan (04 with Del Val and 99 with Ursinus), maybe he was just frustrated that his team came close and fell short.  I read his remarks more along those lines than as someone who is short-changing Rowan.  Plus, I suspect Mangus knows this probably was his best chance to beat Rowan for a while with his quarterback and tailback both graduating.  There was an added sting to this loss as opposed to last year's drubbing.

While different people respond differently, I think we can all relate to the pain of coming so close on something and falling short.

Does Rowan recruit high school players outside the state of New Jersey? Or do these players come on their own?

From NJ and a Mount Union graduate.  As much as I would love to make the trip, the wife and kids have me under wraps for this week-end (especially with the holidays rolling around).  If it were me, I would not even think about flying.  I always drive.  Can make it in decent time.  We drove out for Mount game last year and also a Browns game.

Good luck to Rowan.  Hope the defense is prepared.  Should be a great game.

7 hours by car from Glassboro to Alliance - 6 1/2 hours if one presses it. Gas and tolls considerably less expensive than airport parking, airfare and car rental. Air travel (Philly to Cleveland) plus commute to airport slightly less time consuming but requires conformity to flight schedules. Car travel imposes wear and tear on aged driver(s) and general wear and tear on car.

If your looking for lodging for the game there are three motels in Alliance. Comfort, Holiday Express and Super 8. I personally would avoid the Super 8. Canton is closest major market and the motels and restaurants around Belden Village area make for the easiest shot to Alliance and the Pro Football HOF.
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Good luck to Rowan in the Semis represent the East well!

Let's hope Wesley wins and having essentially an all East FINAL!
