 ;)  JT/Phil:

Agency director here.  This would be a great business if it wasn't for those damn idiot clients!   ;D

The internet has turned a bunch of know nothing clients into a bunch of misinformed clients.  Sometimes a little knowledge IS a dangerous thing.   ::)

skunks,

Especially when those clients that don't grasp the concept that artwork on a computer screen is an additive medium, and that ALL printing from said artwork is subtractive.  Don't get me started on paper types and proofs.  Oy vey!

You'ld never know it was a playoff week to look at this board--where's the smack?  Where's the bragging?  Why aren't you guys over on the OAC board trying to piss people off?  Let's stir the pot!

GO RAIDERS-KICK ROWAN'S UGLY UNIFORMS RIGHT BACK HOME TO JOISEY

aprof,

+karma to you for getting it started, but we have higher standards now.......... ;D

As a former player, current fan, and present gridiron alum; this team has just been finding a way to win. They have overcome numerous injury hurdles, but yet, the supporting casts continues to step up and perform diligently. We all know what happened the last time RU was at MUC and maybe, history will repeat itself again on 12/10/06. Can RU score more than 24 against the Mighty MUC? I don't care as long as we are ahead by 1.

I will not be able to attend, but I hope it is a hard fought game, NO INJURIES for either team, and that the refs let the teams play. May be the best team win and then go onto win the Stagg Bowl.

GO ROWAN- KICK THE MUC OUT OF THE PRETTY PURPLE UNIS[/color][/b]
LONG LIVE THE BORO!

If you do ANYTHING, give it your EVERYTHING!

With the amount of information I've gained over the last three days about idiot clients, agencies, creative directors, etc, I certainly have fulfilled the requirements for my PhD in Creative Services.  Will my degree come in the mail or do I have to go to the Dollar Store and pick it up?

By the way, I just thought I'd mention that RU and 3 other teams are in the semi's this weekend.

Anybody have any thoughts on that ???

PS:  You'll have to excuse me this week because I am so upset about Linfield losing to WW.  I have such heartfelt sympathy for all of my good friends over on the NW board. ;)

RU Fan,

Yeah, I'm bummed that we lost too but even more bummed that we missed a chance to put another rare triple monkey stomp on the "beast" from the east.

BTW, what do the playoff teams in the east region and a Rowan Co-Ed have in common?  They both hit their backs when they see a playoff team from outside their region.  ;)

In an interview with the Rowan coach in the Alliance paper,
he talked about the travel problems to Oregon last year. Players going on 3 different planes, with layovers (one in Vegas)--he said it was an absolute headache and he thinks it contributed to the final score. We'll arrange flights to Alliance for you!!!

RUFan,

I don't think Rowan has played a complete football game yet.  The offense is being "re-created" to fit Rankin.  They've done a nice job.  They'll need to do better this week.  It will be interesting to see what the O can do on a good field after two crappy ones.  Mount has a surface similar to Rowan's. Saturday weather looks good so far... right now that isn't a factor.

If the Profs don't have to double the Raider Wr. Garcon, that will be a big plus.  They practice against two receivers that are probably just as good in Silva and Wright.... so we will see.

It was easier to get a feel for this game when the teams met almost every year.

The Mount running attack is very good and probably better than Cortland's.  Cortland is the best running game the Profs have faced this year.

I think that this could be a very good football game, and if it is close I like our chances, given Rowan ability to comeback and/or win close games.  Which is something to my recollection, KC's teams rarely did.

Nice to hear from you again .... especially on this occasion.  Sounds like a wake over on your board.  Tell those guys to cheer up.  You probably thought I was being facetious with my heartfelt sympathy ................... well, you were right! 8)

Monkey stomp or 3 points ..... doesn't matter.  We didn't go anywhere last year and you're not going anywhere this year.

Speaking of Co-eds, their backs, etc., etc., how did your  Wildcats do last weekend? ;D

After the way you guys beat up RU last year, come to find out it doesn't feel very good, does it.  I guess what comes around goes around!

Have a good trip to MU and bring back a win! ;)

RU Fan,

Yeah, every team at some point losses the big game.  No lie, it sucks.

However, it's always nice to walk into the Linfield Athletic Complex and see the Walnut and Bronze.   That's something Rowan doesn't have and will not have this year.....again.  Enjoy your last week of the season.....and yes, I know that is one more than Linfield has this year.

JT

RUFan,

Who knew by the mere mention of press check, it would stir up so much.  I guess more that a few PP posters have a hand in the print industry.

Sometimes in this room we post about life, politics, WalMart, careers, z-man's super powers etc.  Then someone will post "Can we get back to football?", and we get back on track.

Women have the bathroom, we have post patterns.

I think a creative services PhD is only warrented when you actually suffer some of these fools and are able to survive without killing someone.  Just reading a few pages of fodder doesn't really cut it  ;)

It is tough to stay on top of this board - since I haven't been on here since week 2 of the season.  This thing called work and traveling for work is silly I tell you.
I just wanted to wish Rowan luck this weekend and getting to the finals.  Go for it.  Great story with a back up QB and they can still get to the dance.  Good Luck!

I also just found out that the associate head coach at Kean - received the AFCA assistant Coach of the year award for D 3.  Congrats to Coach garrett - you deserve it.

Go get'em out in Ohio Profs!

theaprof

Just thought I would pass on to all of you Rowan fans that Garcon broke his leg today and Kmic seperated his right shoulder.  Should be an easy game for you guys now.
Reloading--Again, and again, and again....

Oh no, that could only be true if i was looking at the game through Keeler's rose colored sunglasses.  (I know he's not there any more--but he is such an easy target)
