Gutty effort by Rowan.

Their defense was superb but they were just on the field too long.

Possession Time: Mount Union 40:09 Rowan 19:51

But they have nothing to be ashamed of.  They represented the East well.

jdean

Agree 100% Gordon. Rowan's defense played us as good as anyone. Other than 1 pass play to the one Rowan's O was not effective, but that was due to Mount's defense. If you like defensive battles this was the one to see.
Very good effort Rowan.

Ric

Listen up East, Rowan represented well.  Accorsi seems to have that program in the right direction.  Best D Mount faced all year.  With the starting QB this would have been a barn burner.

Impressive "D" by the Profs.  Congratulations on a great season!  Maybe we'll meet again in '06.
12-0 = 13

Good season by the profs. Repped the east well in the semis

injuries and weather aside... a very balanced and competitive east bracket this year (minus Rowan vs. Wilkes). Tell the east haters to sit on it and rotate.

JT

Best thing is for Mount to take down UWW or have a close Stagg.  Then I can guarentee my last East article will tell them where to go  ;)

According to ESPN.com Nate Kmic lead ROWAN to victory today. Might want to copy it before they read their emails.

As much as ESPN is the leader in sports..............They screwed up big time this afternoon..............The bottom line showed the final at 42-7 Mt union, for over 3 hours.
The Rowan supporters not in the listening area or not aware of the "net " broadcasts were thinking that the Profs got smoked "again" in the Semis...............Anyone that saw or heard that game knows Quite different..........Shame on the guys in Connecticut..............Kudos to the Profs for a great season completed with Smoke & mirrors...........Congrats to Coach Kehres & the Raiders..............Good luck next week in the Stagg..................UWW may be your toughest test in Salem!

I think theres about 42 Ithaca grads that work in that ESPN building.  I apologize on behaf of all Ithaca grads for that screwup.

Knightstalker

I saw the bottom line showing a 49-7 final for the Rowan MUC game.  I have attended training seminars with a lot of the technicians from ESPN.  When you pay what ESPN pays those guys you have to expect mistakes.

I thank thee Coach Kehres for smiting those that did dare to call me an ass.

Congrats to Rowan for a fine season--hope to see you again, on the field, soon.

Reloading--Again, and again, and again....

In the defense of ESPN, it appears to have been the wire service that had it wrong and the Worldwide Leader just picked it up.

However, that wire service is OWNED by ESPN ... so never mind.  :-\ Just don't blame the PAs, blame SportsTicker.
