I don't know, I got that info from you about the Stys...  How about any preseason info... Any big name recruits or transfers that you know about??

Generally we start doing our preseason selections (Top 25, All Americans, Kickoff preview) in mid-July.

I'm with you though...it can't get here soon enough for me.

Thanks for the info.  Any idea if any Profs are in the running for Preseason All-American or where the Prof's will rank preseason???

All responses will be considered non-binding!!!  I think that I just have too much time on my hands today, and after the draft, definitely got biten by the football bug!

Completely off the top of my head, I would think Orihel will get a look as will a couple members of the defense.

From what I hear, Encarnacion is jogging around after an operation or 2 and is looking good.  He should be ready to go in August.

Orihel's wrist is supposed to be better than 100% after his  surgeries.  Heard he is throwing better than ever, put on some weight and looks stronger and quicker than last year.

Overall, if the Profs can come up with replacements for Wright and Silva,  there should be some excitement in the 'boro this year.

I can't say for sure, but I don't think that you're going to be on any tailgate invite lists from the Linfield crowd.    I agree with you though ... I'd like to get another shot at Linfield as well as Mt. Union.

From what I hear, (and I'm not certain) but the Stys situation appears to be true.  I think that they are still in school finishing the semester.  Let's all wish them well.

We're tracking recruiting information as we get it on the Daily Dose.

We're a little light on the NJAC info right now, though we do have a full list of Cortland State recruits.

Thanks for the info.  I know  that its tough to come up with a lot of recruiting news at this time of the year. 

Some coaches like to protect the names of their recruits so they can't be wooed away by other schools.  It can be tough information to come by at some schools.

In respect to the tailgating invites in Linfield, I'm not that upset because I'm not a huge fan of the "longies", especially since I have a two hour ride home after the games.

That's great news about Encarnacion and Orihel, should be a great year if we can remain healthy.  Knock on wood.

The Brown & Gold Gridiron Club will be holding our 18th Annual Golf Outing on Friday, 6/23 at White Oaks Golf Club. It is a scramble format. The cost is $105 per golfer. Great prizes, great food and flowing kegs of suds. If you can put something on the RowanFootball.com web site it would be appreciated. Hope all is well with you.

It is going to be a strange season with the new schedule format. It will be hard to get used to not playing Montclair in the last game of the season.

I heard some great news about some incoming freshmen and some potential transfers (no names though).
