4mer:

That's a pretty ambitious statement for the beer drinkers :P over on the northwest board to make since Benzel hasn't even won the starting job there yet.

They were also talking about him being a pre-season AA .... hey fellas, that sounds a little premature to me.  They have to have something to fantacize about since 95% of them haven't gotten over the UW/Whitewater game or Locey leaving.

I would love to meet them in the playoffs again this year.

For all of you NJAC posters, pay no attention to those guys because nothing and/or nobody is any good unless its Linfield. 8)

Go PROFS ;)

RU Fan...that would be great! I would love it too!
That would probably mean that we
Won the conference
Got invited
Got by Whitewater
Orihel wasn't hurt.

I think you're confusing the NWC with the MIAC.  McMinnville is in the heart of Oregon wine country, not in Minnesota. ;)

We'd love to see you too.  Hopefully your boys would show up to play though.  How do you lose 52-0 in a national semifinal game?

JT

Linfield was the better team but nothing went right for the Profs.  In the history of sports it ain't like good teams don't get blown out.  Was Linfield 52 points better than the Profs, no I was thinking more like 17-21.

One year later, the Profs battle Mt. Union to 19-7 with no offense.  No starting QB, no starting RB, missing one starting WR.

Stop slighting Orihel.  Last year, he was better than both QB's in the Stagg, and I saw the Mount Union kid up close.  But injuries happen.

To complain about Orihel with the numbers he's put up is crazy.  Its preseason. There a probably many fine choices for preseason QB, but Orihel got the nod.  No apologies.

4mer,

I'll fire out an email to Phil.  He's still on the roster.  I'm betting he's been invited to camp on 7/28.

I've been a little busy with my internet businesses but I've started reviewing last year's video.  I'll start working on the site a little each week.  I will try to have video before the season starts.

JT

Just fired off an email.  I'll try to do an interview before camp.

Cat Fans,

I have no problem at all with the level of support and confidence that you have in your team and I wish more d3 programs had that level of support and success, it would make the entire d3 nation that more competitive.

RU Fan,

It is not "beer drinking" it's "longies" out in McVille.

JT,

I greatly appreciate the follow up on Silva and I definitely have to agree with you about Orihel.  I saw the Stagg as well, but not in person, and I don't think that there is even a comparison as.  It is also difficult for me to understand why some doubt, however I'm sure he will come with it this year.

I'm gonna try to hook up with Phil before 7/28.  He just had a week and half off, so he went home.  Phil just moved back in the dorms with the other rookies.  While back in the Boro, he spent time with Orihel and shared some stuff he learned that will make the receivers better.

Like I said, to 95% of the Linfield fans, nothing or nobody is any good if it isn't Linfiled.

Lets just leave it at that. 8)

None of these preseason polls mean spit.  Lets see where we both wind up in mid December.  Then I'll come back and rattle your cage again  ;)

If any current Prof player reads this board, or if Orihel does, and I hope that they don't.  I hope that they finally prove the nay-sayers wrong this year.  I'm sure that some of the Prof faithful will have plenty to say about this.

Good Luck PROFS!!!

How many years do nay-sayers have to be right before they aren't nay-sayers...they're just right?

RU Fan,

I guess I fall in that 95%...no wait it's just Rowan I don't think is any good.

I do like them enough to dig up some
highlights
the Orihel one's start about a minute and a half in.

In all seriousness...good luck this season...hopefully we'll meet deep in the playoffs, I'm sure it will be a little closer this time...but hopefully not! :)

Thanks for validating what I said above to Rockcat. ;)

The fortunate thing is that nobody here in Prof land cares what you or any of the other 94.9% think of Rowan.

Maybe you guys will get lucky enough to come East to the 'boro.  Wouldn't that be sweet! :o

No problem...I'm always willing to lend a helping hand to my D3 brethren!  Hey, if we're coming to NJ in December it can only mean good things, we're both winning!!  I'm sure the boys would love to see another part of the country!  Good luck!    :D

I think I remember some good things happening the last time the Cats made the cross country trip.
