I think today is NJAC Media Day. Does anyone know when the results and comments from the event will be posted? I would likes to hear a little something from Montclair. Maybe we can also get a look at the rosters and maybe get some activity on the Board. Here are my picks :

1. Rowan
2. Cortland
3. Montclair
4. William Paterson
5. TCNJ
6. Western Connecticut
7. Kean
8. Buffalo Sate

Let's see what shakes out.

LET'S  GO  MIGHTY  RED  HAWKS  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

is there any program out there that has fallen harder than Buff State? Unlike kean, there has to be hope in sight for that program.

The coaches poll is as follows:

1. Rowan (7)
2. Cortland (1)
3. Montclair
4. West Conn
5. TCNJ
6. Buff St.
7. Willy P
8. Kean

I think the coach is going in the right direction.  It is a talent rich area, and they are a public school.

Willy P doesn't have a SID at the moment.  They did not submit a preview.  All we'll have for now is my interview.  That data will appear in the d3football.com 2006 preview.

JT,

Do we have to wait for the D3 football addition or will Montclair have a preview in the Preview section ? Thanks.

They should.  I have the published doc that they gave to the press. The online version should be similar... whenever it appears on the MSU site.

Gee, I wonder which Coach cast the lone vote for Cortland to win the NJAC this year. ???       Smells like a "homer" vote to me 8).

Cortland has a tall order in front of them if they think that they'll come into the 'boro and beat the Profs.

If the Profs are up for any game this year,  it will absolutely be the Cortland game.

They just don't like those guys. ;)

JT:

Any news on the Profs that you would like to share?

I would bet the farm that it is Accorsi voting for Cortland.  Cortland will be good, and historically the favored coach will pick his toughest opponent.

Give me a day or two in order to get what is required.  I'll either post the extra or put it on rowanfootball.com

If the Red Hawks can catch a few breaks in the first three games and come out un-skaved, then maybe knock off Cortland or Rowan, then you never know. It's a tall order, but not impossible. Play smart, with heart for 60 minutes anw we have a chance.

I believe (at least in the mac anyway...) that coaches cannot vote for their own team so it would make sense that accorsi would vote for cortland...

I can understand why Acorsi didn't vote for Rowan, as an unwritten rule, but deep dpwn that probably has to be the toughest thing to do... vote against your own squad.

Camp starts this week I believe, historically speaking, and I can't wait to catch a glimpse of the '06 Profs.  I'm also looking forward to seeing what JT's outlook for our boy's is going to be.

Injuries are unfortunately a part of the game.  Lets hope all of the teams stay injury free this year.
