The fan support really sucks on this board. There are 4 games to really yap about, but the silence remains. I hope the Red Hawk "O" comes to life and we come away with a win in Springfield.

Final score doesn't really tell the story of this game.

Cortland pulls it off by the skin of their teeth with a goal line stand with only seconds on the clock.  They held Brockport on a 4th and 1 from the 4 with 40 sec to hold on 17-10.

I do know one thing, every team is going to be hard pressed to find points against that Cortland defense...I am not sure how many, but there could have been double digit sacks in that game.

What a great Job by the best defense in the country......cortland had 10 sacks today.....if the d-fense continues to play like this it will be very hard for teams to score at all.....and it will lead us to the stagg bowl........

   The early aspirations will add some drama to this board.  If the Dragon O does not shape up, things could be rough.  Some of those issues are a credit to the Bport D but 4 fumbles. 
   How about those finishes to the LSU/Auburn and Army/A+M games.  What an amateur call buy Ross's son going with the inside zone on 3rd down with 9 seconds left.  Army should have had that one.

Anybody catch the Saint Joes Regional/ Newburgh Free Academy game on MSG?  Seeing that NFA is a solid section 9 AA school just shows the gap between the public and parochials.  How woud Joe's stack up against Bosco or Bergen?  As a downstate NY guy the names are household but not sure if they are the same class size, league etc...Any thoughts on Poly Prep from BKLYN.  They were on MSG last week.

From what I hear, the Profs are chomping at the bit to get going again.  Two bye weeks are just tooooooooo much.

I think the team is pretty healthy.  Having two weeks (three really) off has helped them get stronger, take care of the dings that some of the players had, work on some areas that needed improvement and really prepare for Robt. Morris.  Should be a good game.

Hopefully, there won't be any rust from not playing.  I'm sure that the coaching staff has concentrated on that aspect and will put a team on the field that's ready to play.

Robt. Morris has a new stadium that opened last year.  Its supposed to be very nice.  Let's see if we can get a bunch of Prof fans out there to support the team.
