Phil,

Welcome back !!! I guess the Red Hawks got a second life this past Sat. It should be real interesting this comming Sat in Cortland. I'll be there for that one. Hope I don't jix em. :)

The records get throw out the door this Friday. Yes, Rowan should win, but you never know. ;)

Hey Dan,

What's the story on the game this Sat. It should be a real good game in Cortland. What will the weather be like? Hope to see you at the game. ::)

Dave,

It should be a good game.  I'll have a preview up in a few days.  The winner stays in
the ECAC hunt, the loser is out, in my opinion.  That is assuming neither team upsets
Rowan.

Right now the forecast is Mostly Sunny and mid-60s.  Sounds perfect for watching football!

Are you conceding the division at this point?  :)

I wonder if the new board has anything to do with how slow this room is?

The old board was just as slow -- when was the last time you saw a Kean or Western Conn or William Paterson poster?

I've seen posters at two of the schools on their bulletin boards!

Rimshot!

Alright, off to lunch...

I set the Week #5 Pick-E'm. There are no spreads yet. I go on an up-state business trip Wed thru Fri. If I can't get the spreads we will gave to do straight. I've added Ithaca-Brrock and B-Water-Hamp-Syd.

Cortland-Montclair should be a great game this weekend. The game last year at Sprague Field had an exciting second half with a Cortland comeback from I believe being down 12-0. Not to mention the five play goal line stand with under a minute to go. Though, I could have sworn that the play to set up that goal line stand saw Eric Ferriol make a touchdown catch in the end zone that was marked back to the one yard line.

Montclair offense looks different from years past with a lot of guys save for Ferriol, Carter and Perryman getting substantially more playing time than in years past. Statistically speaking it appears they'll putting the load between two backs - Billy Dee Williams and Ryan McCoach. Ferriol at quarterback is a change but receiving has always been a strong point for MSU. Defense is the same as its been with numerous veterans leading the way in the 3-4. If I'm a Montclair fan I'm worried about the offensive numbers given up to Salisbury - 440yds rushing.

For Cortland, its a chance to show that last week against Buffalo State was an hiccup and that they're still one of the teams to beat in the conference. In one way, the loss could be a wake up call and get the Dragons better prepared for this week against the Red Hawks.

Here's to hoping we'll get another clash on par with last year's game at Sprague. Though, I will miss the infamous stairwell and the Parking Deck. Well there's always next year.

GREAT wake up call for c-state last saturday.... their heads were getting to big and a non-conference game was nice to get the wake up call in!! we'll see should be a good game and we'll finally see if smith can make it in this offense!

John/Cstater/Dragonflyer -

I'd like to see Cortland abandon the option altogether, which may be a real possibility the way it's been run this season.  Either that or run a QB keeper disguised as an option.

Also I want the offensive passing game to develop a personality.  Our passing playbook seems a little on the large side.  What I think would be good would be to focus on quick dropback, short passes.  This might get the receivers and the quarterback into a rhythm, and build some confidence.  With Lascari, you have a kid with enough speed that if he catches a short slant in stride he might break it for a long gainer.

This would be the scene where YoungCougar walks into the room with a funny one-liner...  ::)

Pat,

Need your help. How do I get rid of that pic of Brad Pitt. I must have done something by accident. Thanks :D

Congratulations to Jared Greenberg of the Montclair State Red Hawks for making the D3 Team Of The Week as a Returner(RET). 2 returns for 176 yards.

Source,
How is the team(Rowan) look this week? Without Albie posting anymore we get very little updates. Does anyone know how Albie is doing? I hope Joy Accorsi has the team prepared.
