RU will look fine this week. They are a well-prepared and determined NJAC team with asperations of a deep playoff run and national championship. One game at a time though, and yes, this game happens to be against archrival TCNJ.

RU by a bunch! FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS IN THE BORO!
LONG LIVE THE BORO!

TCNJ pre-game story:

Scott,

Having met Albie more than a few times, he's a guy with a lot of pride.  Since he is a former GSC/Rowan player himself from the late the 60's early 70's, I imagine he might feel like a man w/o a country.  Which is why you probably haven't heard from him.

I'm certainly not picking any sides, but I empathize with his situation.

I thought you heard that Hank Fraley of the Eagles was going to toss the coin last week for the RMU game.  I didn't see him!  He was probably busy nursing poor Donovan! :-*

Regarding the Profs being ready for Friday night..........I don't think there is any way that they won't be up for this one.  There is no love lost between these two teams especially since TCNJ won 2 years ago when they last came to the 'boro..........and left the parking lot looking like a pig pen.

Don't worry Prof fans.....we're playing at home and probably wearing the yellow unis which means ..... the yellow   8)BUS 8)  is already warming up.

The  BUS  just keeps on rolling.....

phil

Sorry that the concept of a tailgate party is so foreign to the folks at Rowan as to lodge in your memory banks (along with the "L") two years down the road. The great thing is that if the little yellow school bus is as primed as you say the folks from TCNJ won't have reason to return for the second half and will adjourn to the Ye Olde Yellow and Brown Parking Lot and Pub to further drown their sorrows and leave their mark on your hallowed asphalt!

If you're the little yellow schoolbus Linfield must be the big , mean, purple, 18-wheeler!

Crying unbecomes you.  You're starting to sound like an Eagle fan.

Momma used to say, clean up after yourself, Sonny.  The way the TCNJ fans left the parking lot and surrounding grounds was a disgrace (beer bottles & cans, trash, food, you name it, it was there and in bunches).  I didn't want to belabor the point but you asked for it.  When I said they left it like a pig pen, I guess it comes down to.... some fans are what they are.

Let me understand this, if you think you can't beat someone, you look around for someone who did?  Absolutely correct, Linfield spanked RU last year and I've never posted any differently.  But you know what, that was then and this is now.

Maybe to satisfy you, I'll change it from the BUS to the LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULD.....  It that more to your liking?

Dr. xGSC

Phil,

I don't care who you are, but that's   ;D FUNNY! ;D

RU attending the festivities on Friday night in the Boro?

JT what were you refering to about picking sides?
Where is the Source? Who will be flipping the coin this week?

Scott,

Simply that his son Jim (6th year, Senior redshirt/then injury) wasn't invited to camp.  I left it at that.  "Source" has intimated reasons as to why he's not on the team.

I'm not about to ask why, its none of my business because I'm not involved in the day-to-day operation of the football team.  Therefore, I am not picking sides.  Personally I like Albie, he was a big supporter of the team and of me.

Its gotta be hard not to be able to see his son play one last year.

I am also a big supporter of Accorsi and the way he runs the team.

How many people are going to Friday night's game in Glassboro?

I was thinking about taking in the show if it works in my schedule.

Dr. xGSC

I will definitely be there with Cigar in hand!

At this point it looks as though I'll be there as well.....without a cigar in hand.

From what I hear, there are going to be a bunch of folks in attendance.

I forgot to mention in my post about the RMU game that some business associates of mine also attended the game.  Aside from obviously talking about the terrific game, theywere very impressed by the great job that the Prof Pep Band does.  The Band really adds to the atmosphere.    I wholeheartedly agree.  You do a Great Job Pep Band!

JT

RU Fan,

Do I know who you are?  If not and you see me, introduce yourself.  I'd like to put a face to a handle.
