Food for thought, I have always been a big believer in Saturday night football, look at the great atmosphere the SEC gets for their games.  Anyone other than me think that a Cortland/Rowan night game at say 7pm would be an amazing atmosphere to play in late in the season?  Travel time seems to be the only drawback...

Can Cortland put up enough points to win w/ the backup? Rowan hasn't given up too many points this year it looks like.

this will be the 4th game that miles played in...they put up 49 at Westconn and 42(i think) at montclair....he is def good enough to handle the offense...and i feel thier D is good enough to give them great field postion

Who has the better kicker?  I think it could come down to that.

iam going to say the special teams edge goes to cortland...and that may very well win the game, you are right

He was also 10-23 with 4 sacks and 2 INTs against TCNJ. At one point I believe Miles was 6-19.  I think the Prof's defense is at least as good as the Lion's.

Although if it comes down to special teams my money is on Cortland.

iam not aruging the fact he had a bad game, but in the other 2 "big" games he came up huge, so he can go either way, but i can guarntee that they will get the ball in the hands of thier playmakers...and look for all american stef sair to have a huge game, on defense as well as special teams.....

Montclair beats Willy P by (14) and starts it's run at an ECAC bid. We have the will if we play for 60 minutes like we did last week. A few coaching adjustments really paid off. The O had a flicker of life and played very well in OT. Let's set the tone for an ECAC bid and a building block for next year.

I'll see you all at Willy P.

LET'S  GO  MIGHTY  RED  HAWKS  !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cortland by (10). They are a fundamentaly sound team. Good kicking game. After last weeks game, Rowan did not appear to be the same team as in the past. This is not a knock on Rowan, but everyone has to re-build and Rowan had one hell of a run. Maybe the talent is not as good as in the past and it takes a little time to develop it. Rowan also has the ability if everything goes right to put a damper on Cortlands season. Anything can happen, but my hunch is with the Red Dragons. Good Luck To Both Teams.

Miles, for sure, has been adequate. Even more considering circumstances. Numbers vs. TCNJ a bit skewed in that he sustained early game hand (throwing) injury that took him out of parts of the game. Later required stitches and is ready to go at Rowan. Also, rain, wind, all around weather last Saturday at the Complex was dreadful. The fact soph has several tuneups is big plus. Whether they've prepared him for Rowan/IC ''majors" remains to be seen. Corts' `D' and special teams have come up BIG in Smith's absence. We shall see. Ten points? Get serious!

Dave- prob shouldn't say this on a post but the only coaching change was that G wasn't there..his mother past away earlier that morning before the Rowan game.... he wasn't at practice all week... also Montclair is not going to the ECAC's anymore..

HawksNation,

I was there, knew about Coaches Mom, and my condolences. What I saw was not a major change, but a minor one and let's end it at that.

Now down to the ECAC'S. I'll be really pissed if we do not attempt to go. We have a young growing program and a nice way to end the year if you can't make it to the dance, the ECAC'S if you are invited. I realize that we would have to earn it(like winning out), but can someone explain. I have asked this question a few times this week and have not heard from anyone. We went to the ECAC'S last year. What happened in a year ?
