I believe there is a person that is on this site that has been accused of being anti- Mount Union and that wasn't true.... Just because he picks against them doesn't mean he has "obvious disdain" ,

JU,
Point understood.

My point is that, as fans fans we are expected to be biased.  As a fan of D3football.com I might expect undertones, but not such an obvious disdain for a team.

Biased??

You, a rowan fan, can not be serious when using the term "Biased" in relation to an Around The Region column about the East Region....

Go look at previous articles and count how many times Rowan was featured and mentioned in those articles....

Merely leaving someone out is not disdain.

How about you do what I asked Liberty League fans to do regarding JT when he left out items from their conference: send him a damn e-mail instead of calling him out on the board. Thanks.

Why, so he could just use it as he reponds in a cocky manner that he has done in the past.

Sorry if I pissed you off that much!

Rowan's expectations are always high but maybe not so much this year with the 4 seed .  That's what I like about these playoffs.  I think they have less pressure and could play a little loosely.  The senior QB and the D could make a difference in the later rounds if they advance.  Remember they made it to the semis last year with their backup QB.

Dear Mr. Samrov,
So much for your prediction of a "knock-out blow" by Cortland. Rowan is still standing. Maybe you football gurus from Utica don't understand this but..... Defense wins Championships. Rowan will be in the playoffs and as usual Utica will be at home watching.
Sincerely,

I think whoever wrote that message got what was coming to him. Calling out the columnist's alma mater is weak and cowardly.

Now that really is Game set and Match.

RT occassionally wonders what could've been had Fisher been any good in the late 1980's while RT was growing up in Rochester playing for Aquinas Institute circa 1986-89....would he have ended up as FisherTackle?? Lots of natural synergies there...but, alas...RT ended up at RPI and the rest became LL posting folk lore. RT is pondering a trip to the Rock to see his HS in the state semi's on Fri night (or is it quarters), then seeing the parents and catching the U vs. SJF and doing some coverage for the Guru. The only dilemma is the fact the RPI is at Cortland in the ECACs.....UGH

Yeah...I think so. Looking good again this year too.

Hey...did anyone play at Cortland w/ a guy Keith McCard or Sam Owens in the early 90s??

XREDDRAGON77

Can't say that I knew them.     Who is looking like the AA to beat from the West of NY.  Monroe Woodbury appears to be the defending finalist from downstate.

lets go MW......section 9 has been disrespected enough by the island and section 1

WTF is going on here? People are bashing Samrov for his column covering the shoes. You can only cover 1 game in person. He chose shoes. D3.com really needs to send someone to Cortaca but even the Ithaca guys said they'd rather have the attention when the game is on the south hill (gro is picking up on the D3 trivia). So he wrote about RPI, big deal. It's playoffs time and those teams get the coverage from now on.

Rowan Texan... get this... +k for probably the 1st post you've ever written where you're not just blatenly insulting someone,  team, hairstyle, or conference. If you wrote more posts like that one you'd be down to -10 karma. If you check a few pages back gro even wrote a nice little ditty about the profs, no lie.

Cortland people, please don't use the big words to describe kickball. At the end of the day, it's still kickball.
