Wasn't Kean supposed to be a contender this season?  Been busy with my HS season so my facts are behind the times on the boards.

They were supposed to be, yes.  And they looked every bit after week 1.

Cortland at Kean shapes up to be a good game.  It's a must-win for both teams.  Cortland needs to keep pace with Rowan, TCNJ, and Montclair.  A Kean win keeps them in the race.

The Mentor,
I'm definitely enjoying the golf down here. PGA pro KJ Choi lives across the street and Jeff Maggert down the road. I'm also enjoying swimming in the backyard and look forward to doing so into November — but definitely miss fall in NJ. That was my favorite time of year. Good golf weather. Giant games, Yankee games, TCNJ games...

I thought TCNJ could keep it close because I knew they had a very tough defense. I didn't know if they had enough on offense to get the job done though. What a pleasant surprise "watching" the live stats last night after work!

catchball,
Their heads didn't seem to be in the game? If that's the case there's a coaching problem — and I have enough respect for Montclair's coaches to know that is not the case. The 75th meeting and oldest continuing rivalry in the state of NJ, in front of a large crowd on Friday night in the first NJAC game for both squads and you claim MSU didn't have their heads in the game? I'd be shocked if that were the case with TCNJ facing Rowan and MSU facing Buffalo next week. Perhaps you might want to tip your cap to TCNJ's defense instead of blaming your side.

I call them like I see them. Team was flat...offense line was nowhere insight.  I don't claim to know everything about football, never have, never will. But in watching this team the past 2 yrs, they would not have had as many wins if the defense faultered. I said it in the begining and I'll say it again. The O-line, and this is my opinion, needs to get it together and soon.

Ready for Buffalo !!

Rams 1102... your take on this? And good luck to your side the rest of the way. It would be nice to see a three-way battle for the NJAC with Rowan, Montclair and TCNJ for a change — the old-time teams of the NJAC!

And you can watch it on the D3Cast/D3football.com East Region Game of the Week. :)

It's amazing how people seem to disappear when their team loses.

I'm not sure if you're referring to the MSU fans.  But, if you are, Rams is as a loyal a fan as you'll ever see and the rest of those folks are pretty new to the message boards.  They may be back.

The only reason the Red Hawks lost was because of my absence. :) On a serious note, I was in Reading, PA at noon and planned to work my business day to end up in Ewing. I fely really rotten and decided to go home. Laid in bed all weekend, did watch to live stats >:(. Feaver 103-99 all weekend. To the doctors Monday and have an upper-respitory infection. Anti-Biotics and perscription cough medicine. This is my first time up. Gotta go to work tomorrow.

I give a lotta credit to Phil's TCNJ. They took us to the wood shed. Congrats to them. There is no love lost between MSU, TCNJ and Rowan. Records do not count when we play each other. 4 turnovers don't help !!!. Since I was not there I have one question : did we play 110% for 60 minutes ? Time to re-group and get ready for a tough Buff St. These guys are pretty good and we better be ready.

I'll try to re-cap the pick-em tomorrow and also last weeks results.

Rowan appears to be on the rise, it should be a good finish to the NJAC.

LET'S  GO  MIGHTY  RED  HAWKS  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that there are many politically correct posters on here, so I don't expect a comment from any of them, But am I the only NJAC or other east conference   fan that recognizes a blatant lack of coverage and respect in the around the region piece.

ATR should be called "About the E8 &LL"

I just glanced back at every Adam Samrov article .  All 17 of them start out with a lead from an E8 or a LL team as does about 85% of all the ink on the articles.

It has actually become a joke when I open up the page each week.

I have always thought what you said but never posted my opinion. I really don't care about around the region because of it's bias. I agree 100% with you.
