What has happened to Rowan in recent years?

Pat Coleman

Doesn't matter what Springfield was ranked in Week 3, when Montclair played them. That's irrelevant in Week 11 when they're 4-6.

Rowan ends the 2007 season with a record of 4-6.  I know, every loss by less than a td or we would be 10-0.  But still 4-6 just plain stinks!  Maybe its  time for a change at Rowan.  You would have to go back in history a very long time to find a 4 win Rowan team.  What a shame.  It seems like the only thing that has kept Rowan going over the last few years was simply its own reputation as a winning program.  That was what brought the talent in!!  It should be a very interesting next couple of years.  Heres hoping for a major turn around.  I would say to give Hendricks a shot, but he also needs some new faces to run the offense.

You thought it, I said it!

1984 was the last time Rowan had a losing record. 1994 was the last time Rowan was out of contention for a title or a playoff bid before the last game of the season.

OK, understood. Ithaca lost to un-ranked Hartwick by (2) and lost to Fisher who is ranked (#6 or maybe higher by (21). Ithaca has beaten -0- top 25 teams. Montclair lost to now probably un ranked TCNJ by (10) and by (30) to un ranked Cortland. We also beat Wesley now #7 or maybe higher by (1). Why is Ithaca in and Montclair out in your opinion?
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Where is Montclair ranked in-region? How about their numbers?

Because maybe SJF is 10X better than Cortland or Wesley.  And maybe Hartwick is better than Cortland too.  And who else in the east has Wesley played?  Im not that impressed with them.  If Montclair had blown out SC or Cortland like IC did, then they might have a case.  But they just squeaked by and lost to two teams that IC smoked.

Jeez did TCNJ shoot themselves in the foot by crapping the bed against Kean.  Looks like the NJAC is getting harder to shoot through unblemished.  TCNJ lost the number #1 seed.  I could see them winning the East at home.  On the road, I'm not so sure.

They blew it.  They had a shot at the #1 seed, certainly a #2 seed.  That is inexcusable considering what was on the line.

On the other hand, Cortland just got a share of the NJAC Championship.  So I guess I have something to get excited about after Cortaca.   ::)

I agree regarding Wesley.  My computer rankings haven't been impressed with them in weeks.  On the other hand, Fisher has been hanging around my national top 10 for a long time.

Yea everyone is so high on Wesley and/or Widner.  Neither team has played any E8 or LL team.  Doesnt mean the E8 or LL is better, but some comparative scores might tell you so........

I hope Fisher (and no disrespect) gets to play Wesley. Then they will see. This is now a moot point until it happens.

Yeah that's right.  Making it their first... congrats.  Profs have done similar things to hurt themselves. Its weird seeing TCNJ do it.  I saw Kean and they are pretty good, just very inconsistant this year. They'll be replacing a lot next year.  Jeez the NJAC was like the WIAC this year.  Teams just pounded on and upset one another.

Ugh.  Moving Mount Union to the East is a killer.
