p.s. are you asking a question or making a statement with that last post?

question marks are a privilege, not a right!

Jonny -

Did you read Butterfield's book yet?  I just found a copy at the Ithaca Barnes & Noble.  I'm looking forward to it.

The board has picked up a little, but very little NJAC talk. The MSU - Kean game, I thought would spark a little conversation. :( I will predict the following : "the Cougars will go down and like I said yesterday, the Red Hawks will start a 5 game winning streak." Anybody from Kean have anything to say. Hey Phil, any thoughts on the TCNJ - Willy P. game? Are you going to make it to Sam Mills Field on Saturday ? Let's see if I have planted some seeds for further discussion.

Hope to have the spreads by tonight or by 1:00PM tomorrow for the Pick Em Contest.

LETS  GO  MIGHTY  RED  HAWKS  !!!!!!!
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

As the little kids on my block used to say, "Hey, why don't you mind your own beeswax".  I was poviding a cautionary public service announcement to JT and you guys put in your 2 cents.

And no, Warren, don't cancel the Kleenex just yet.  If I did'nt know better, I'd think that you were trying to tell me something. ;)  You're bordering on name calling------ I may just have to give you some negative Karma.

Don't you guys worry, Sensei Pat and I get along just fine.

Maybe I'll go rattle Enginegro's cage a bit.  He's kidding about RPI in the NJAC, right?

Good luck to your Red Hawks this week and I absolutely agree about renaming the field.  Mills was a class guy!

I stand by my claim, RPI could hang in the DJAC. Maybe a rough 1st year or 2, but given each teams usual ups and downs they would eventually be a top 3 team... exactly where they are in the LL.

Possibly.  But it is a claim which severely lacks sack.  You and I both know RPI isn't joining the NJAC, and worse yet they wouldn't schedule any of the top 3 teams in the NJAC for out of conference games regardless.  There's an open week on your schedule.  Fill it with Rowan, Montclair, Muhlenberg, Christopher Newport, Brockport, somebody, anybody besides freakin Endicott.  Couldn't get the big game with Mt Ida this season could ya?

So go back to your pasting of Utica and Endicott, and come back when you beat somebody out of conference during the regular season.

Blee dat, nome sayin?

JT

Wow!  The hammer has been dropped.

Hey EiEiO-- your boys could hang in the N-JAC!  HANG ON to a 500 record within conf.!! :P  What is the USUAL down years for the top three-- 2,3 losses.  ??? Those "down" squads would probably outright win the UCA>>>LL!!! ;)

DVC of the BIG MAC would lay one on you guys!!  Maybe a early round "East" region matchup. :-\

cnusfinest54

Now JT what was that for ;). We will get the poops, I mean Profs soon enough. Damn its good to see some other people think CNU is a pretty good program in only 5 short years to mention it to another team as a respectable opponent to play. Hey JT go check out of the Odac board I just stirred up a hot topic. I must warn you it may be hard to revisit but from a person that it directly affected I would like to hear what you and the rest of your amigos would have to say about it.

ACMob

MY BAD-- you guys are TOAST this POST SEASON!  :P   Lost to 'Bart in 3OT!  Half of the N-JAC wouldn't need OT to beat ya. ;)

Hey Guys,

The Pick-EM is posted with the spreads. ;)

finest,

Perhaps a Rowan player's own words are better than mine.  This what CB Clinton Tabb wrote on his webpage shortly after the game.

The day was December 8, 2001 Rowan vs. Bridgewater the score was 29-24 in favor of Bridgewater.  But that is only if you're a Bridgewater fan or anti-Rowan fan.  Five seconds on the clock, trips right open left is the formation, Lutz(Bridgewater) quarterback calls go, rolls right, then rolls left, hurls the ball with two seconds left on the clock, I hear the Rowan fans chanting (counting down)the ball travels 49 yards (let me remind you nobody can run 49 yards in four seconds or less on a dry field let alone a wet one and especially not this kid) he makes a great catch, only followed by a great tackle should have been the game. Rowan 24-Bridgewater 23.  All the rest is a nightmare one that I cannot repeat.  Dream Over.  No Championship.  What a ride, just ended with the wrong team playing Mount Union in the Stagg Bowl!!!

My opinion is that the NCAC refs cost Rowan a championship that day.  Rehashing that in the ODAC room is futile.  First, I'm biased in my opinion and second I cannot recall more than a handful of Bridgewater fans that saw Rowan's side of things.  Mostly we were accused of being sore losers.

So it is what it is, neither team is at fault, just the men in stripes that day. The back judge most likely kept the back up clock on his wrist.  One ref keeps a clock on the field. He's the prick I'd like to talk to.
