Somebody that still has a mullet and drives an 85 Iroc?
Knight

Your statement does have a ring of veracity about it because someone from Jersey City certainly knows all about mullets and IROCs (stolen ones, that is). ;)  Pick on any 80 year old ladies recently?...AH, the joy of being a government employee!

PHIL,
yes.. turf  installed at will p last year...thats good, but schoonover is done for the season w/ a broken wrist, so is opdyke (tight end).. leeair brown & chris bell also banged -up but will play..... today should be interesting, struble rolling out & running the ball on almost every play....... defense will have to create as many turnovers as kean did last week, also special teams will have to make some plays , because this offense is horrible... i will be at the game...with the huge wilson golf umbrella

so would you guys say this is a down year for the NJAC overall?  To me it seems that Rowan is the same (top 5 in the country) but everyone else is kind of below average with the exception of maybe Cortland??  So far it seems like the worst NJAC in recent history.

jonny utah,

You can say the NJAC is a little down. Usually we have 4 pretty strong teams. Montclair cleaned house last year(big time). The team is not soo bad. We can go to Salisbury and knock off #10, then we go to Cortland and play pretty good football for 20 minutes and have no motovation for 40 minutes. This is the sign of a young team, and coaching now plays a large role. TCNJ had their own house cleaning this year, and again are a very young team. Remember the Rowan game recently with TCNJ. Cortland is a young team but more mature then MSU and TCNJ. I would still rank the NJAC as on of the tougher eastern conferences. Waz up with W.Conn losing to Springfield. They killed everyone in the NJAC Pick-EM.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

ACMob

Kudos to Springfield for going for two!!

JU-  NJAC may be a little down in your opinion, however, the conference, in my opinion, is still much stronger overall than most other conferences in the region today!!

Knightstalker

RUFan, get your facts straight, someone from jersey city would know about fades and stolen Escalades.  Someone from Bayonne, Staten Island, Jersey Shore and South Jersey know about Irocs and Mullets.

Not a government employee I failed the IQ test, mine was above 85.  I was just a government contractor, the pay is better.  Besides we were told to hammer home workstation security.  It wasn't eighty year old ladies we messed with, they were funny enough all by themselves, it was the know-it-all A-holes we used to abuse.

I'd say it is a down year because Montclair and TCNJ are rebuilding.  Western Conn doesn't look very good if their scores are indicative.

ACMob

Northwestern (Minn) probably got the second string ready for the 2nd half!!

WillyP re-did their stadium just a few years ago and then just added the turf this past year?! That's a good use of state money.

That's horrible news about Schoonover. Everybody who touches the ball in that backfield is going to take a lickin' with the current offensive line. I can't remember the last time a TCNJ team was in this kind of state.

Have fun at the game, I'm not venturing out in these conditions – even with my giant golf umbrellas! I'll just hang tight, watch Rutgers blow another game and see how much negative Karma RUFan can rack up.

Jonny Utah

does the ncaa still have the east region rankings??? Probably havent come out yet if they did

Pat Coleman

Regional rankings start after week 7 or week 8.

Phil,

I'll be leaving soon for Sam Mills Field. Come on down. You'll get to see the Gorton Fisherman, or a Rowan Scout. ;) Let's see what the Red Hawks have. Homecomming, Halftime Ceremonies, and hopefully dishing out a nice big dose of Wup-A#@ as repayment from last year. I hope I don't have to eat my words later tonight. ;D

TCNJ over WILL P   13-7.... both teams should be commended on their ability to play under todays conditions,,, it was a very good game considering !!!
.... but i just have to add..... there were 2 home calls in the 2 nd half, especially the very late defensive  hold'g on the 1st 4th down play  (prior to w-p gettg  stopped  on their 2nd 4th & goal chance w/ 10 secs to go )..  add that  to a make believe late  out of bounds hit earlier in the 4th period... the 2 refs that thru those flags should never ref another njac game... those 2 guys really tried to get the home team into the end zone to tie & possibly win the game
