We beat MontEClair 25 years ago 16-7. Let HISTORY repeat itself. MSU has a tendency of choking on the big one when playing at home in a meaningful game. I am sure the RU staff will have a few tricks up their sleeves.

GO ROWAN AND KICK AZZ!
25year ago ? Stop living in the past, ;D today is a new day. Tricks are for kids. ::) C ya all at the game.

Dr.xGSC,

Beg to differ with you. Our "D" is the real deal, and the "O" is just getting better every week. This is the "O's" break-out game and no better time to have it happen. Montclair didn't choke against you guys last year and the year before. Why should this year be any different.

I heard a rumor about ESPN's college gameday heading to Cortland next week.  Anyone else hear of this?  I know last year they went to Williams for a D3 clash.  I would love to see Corso put on a Bombers helmet amid the rabid Cstate crowd!

I know there is a Facebook group dedicated to campaigning them to come.  Thats about it.  I would love it but I doubt its happening.

XREDDRAGON77

9-0 going into the Jug.  Man, Brockport would not die easily while firing bombs and jump balls down field to the closing seconds.  The Dragon secondary better step up next week!
Taste It!

This is working out to be one of the most hyped Jug games ever.  9-0 vs 8-1.  #1 and #2 (after an RPI loss) regional seeds.  two top 20 teams.  Winner gets homefield advantage in playoffs??? Im getting geeked up right now.

#5587
Montclair - 30        Rowan - 14

It was a big win for Montclair at Sam Mills Field today. We were wining 20-0 at the half. When Rowan got their hands on the ball in the 3rd they proceeded to score 2 TD's and at the start of the 4th quarter it was 20-14. Montclair came back and finished the deal 30-14. The Rowan O line protected their QB well and boy could he scramble. #28 really made some big hits. In the end the Montclair "D" dominated and the "O" did what they had to do and are improving. Fisher need to watch game film of the Rowan QB. ;)

It's time to get ready for Kean and close out the deal.

Secondary had some lapses to be sure but they did have 4 picks.  I thought coverage was pretty good most of the day...the problem was that they tackled poorly.  A lot of yards after the catch.  This Shannon kid is one heck of a reciever as is Diaz.  Luke has a great arm but he must have fumbled 3 or 4 shotgun snaps.  Must have bad hands or something.  Anyway...Miles was strong today as was Giuliano.  Big win.  Congrats Cortland.  One week at a time.

That was sloppy.  Why does the weather always suck when Rowan goes to Montclair?  Nothing really worth publishing picture wise. Waste of time with the camera today.

Had the Prof offense showed up in the first half, they might have won.  Stupid penalties and turnovers were killers.  Completely off their regular season MO of low penalties and protecting the ball.

Best thing of the day was that dream hit laid on #25 from Montclair coming over the middle.  Rowan DB Jimmy DiPaolo #31 knocked his azz out.  Clean hit, perfectly timed.  Defenders dream of hits like that.

Nice to finally meet Dave.  Geez Dave I thought soccer players were supposed to be small.

Now Cortland beat Ithaca please.  Otherwise we get Muhlenberg or Mount Union heading the East.  And Montclair don't screw up and lose to Willy P. Willy P will be jacked for an upset. Go deep in the playoffs and have an All NJAC East final.

In "74" I was 195#, it's amazing what 34 years does.  ;D

It was nice meeting you today and yes the weather sucked.

Next week we have Kean and yes we must take care of business. Will you guys file for an ECAC or is that still a no no? Your QB has talent and your "O" line protected him well.

Did I read on the LL board that you will be married in Hawaii soon. If so, Congratulations and welcome to the club. I've been a member for 32 years. ;)

Dave,

Usually American soccer players are smaller than me.  I'm 6'1".  I'm guessing you are about 6'1".  Actually I'm surprised how often Wilczynski threw into double coverage.  He usually makes better decisions.  Maybe he was trying to do too much.  He did rush for 78 yards and throw for 190, but the three ints were killers.  The dropped punt snap hurt too.

Well there are only 4-5 seniors and they'll get a jump on recruiting again.  And yes I'm leaving for Hawaii to get married on the 18th.  Sunset wedding on the beach on the 21st.  When the economy turns, we'll have a big reception in NJ, wearing the wedding garb and playing the wedding video.  At least that is the plan.

OK Red Hawks destiny is now in your hands. You are ranked #18 by D3football.com and #19 by the AFCA Coaches Poll. Win and you are in with a Pool C Bid. Take care of business this Saturday at Kean. This will not be an easy game because of the intense rilvery. We all know there is no love lost between these 2 teams. Playoffs start this Saturday. Win and you advance, lose and you go home for the year. You know what you gotta do, just do it.
