EngiNegro,

Anybody from the LL in the Top 25 ?  Has anybody from the LL beat a Top 25 team this year ? The answer is no !!!  Have some balls and scheduel Rowan, Cortland, Montclair or TCNJ next year, then come and yap.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

ACMob

DAVE, just having fun!! ;)

I think any LL school would be happy with a 3-0 win over any NJAC squad!

'Gro is loved worldwide!  He was born in Schenectady and played for RPI for heaven's sake.  The guy could certainly bring the pain if he brought his clan to s-bum Jersey!!!

You guys should be appreciative of his presence and learn from his posts....I must give D-Pad much props though for quieting down the 'Gro (just a bit) and giving respect out to the mighty Union Dutchmen....

Gosh, thanks for the info.  He should have told us that he was born in Schenectady.  We knew that he played for RPI.  That combination certainly qualifies him for a statue in the RU stadium parking lot.

Any other RPI faithful with the same credentials, please Email us.  We'll get our sculptors working.

As I remember, there were a few NJAC teams, besides Rowan,  looking for games this year.  Tell 'Gro to feel free to " bring the pain when he brings his clan to s-bum Jersey!!!

Give us a break ........ who cares ???

I got some ballz and scheduled a crew of NJ school grads to come do my fall clean up and organize the shed for the winter. They did a great job and definitely put those degrees to work...they have earned my landscaping business for spring/summer of 2006!!

"Has anybody from the LL beat a Top 25 team this year ? The answer is no !!! " ....that's an outstanding question and pretty irrelevant. What does it prove? And if it matters that much to you, Union should be in the top 25 by 11/12 when RPI will be heading out there to beat them.

Tommy used to work on the docks...union's been on strike, he's down on his luck, it's tough...so tough..Gina works the diner all day, working for the man, she brings home her pay for love..for love

This is a bizarre scenario I am responding to...like the bar from Star Wars. A Union guy is smoking 'Gro, an RPI grad - almost like they're related. I can assure you, that's not the norm in the LL...

As far as other RPI players, yes, I was one....please have your sculptor call me to make sure they ensure anatomical accuracy if I'm going to be placed in such an esteemed place as the RU parking lot.

..does the RU parking lot double as the geology lab???

Plus...RPI already has a statue of me in it's parking lot, so use this for reference

You should learn what the term "tongue in cheek" means lest you stick your foot in your mouth.

Do tell where you go online to cut and paste such witty repartee. I mean the "your grads work for our grads" schtick is priceless!!! The Troy chicks must have really went for that.

Please advise if aforementioned grads made your bed and fluffed your pillows while cleaning your shed.

union89

Phil,
Thanks for setting RUFan straight for me....Damn, its worse in here than 'Gro described over on the LL board.

JT

RT,

A top hat really makes you look a lot more classy.

This room is wound up tight. You want the truth? Let 'Gro drop a gem on y'all (<--- ha, been living in the south too long).

Rowan is head and shoulders above the rest of the east region. Their playoff runs have not ended in the stagg bowl championship, but any team would kill for that kind of success. As long as D-I rejects come back to dirty jersey, rowan will continue on that track.

As for the rest of the DJAC they are like any other conference. Team strength goes in cycles, unless you're Kean... hence my comment about Montclair's slim victory over the dirty cougars.

Rating conference vs. conference is no easy task. I still believe that if RPI or a top LL team was in the DJAC, playing the same DJAC teams year in and year out, eventually they would be a top team, with the same cycles of good teams and bad. Likewise, a DJAC team (aside from all mighty rowan) wouldn't own the LL based on principle. I live in SEC football country and to suggest that an ACC team could be competitive in the conference is sacreligious.

So, lets just live in out own little worlds and settle things come playoff time.

I agree with you 'Gro. I think Rowan is the top talent in the East but I just like to sling poo.  It's so much fun....

Gro,

Are you still with Murray State in Kentucky? My Grandfather used to be their basketball coach a long time ago. I have family in the Benton/Paducah area. My brother graduated from their as well. He speaks very highly of Murray.
LONG LIVE THE BORO!

If you do ANYTHING, give it your EVERYTHING!

'gro

Good Doctor,

I don't know where you got Murray State from, but I was in the Hopkinsville area of KY back in '02. I'm now in Chattanooga, home of the DI-AA football championship game. Nice stadium they have here.
