Rowan vs. Cortland pregame.  Short and sweet.  BTW a Prof win would be the program's 300th victory.

Thanks for the link JT.  Your assessment is probably fair.  Pitcher certainly had a great week but it was only week 1 and we hope he can continue.  He shows alot of poise and leadership, not to mention that he has some tools.  Cortland's key is to not have stupid penalties and someone other than pitcher is going to have to be successful running the football.  If Cortland can establish some semblance of a run game, The Profs will have all they can handle.  looking forward to a great game.

Ex D3 Athlete

Kean has a game @ Western Conn St. University on Sat. They can kick off their pursuit of the NJAC crown by exploiting W. Conn pass defense! WR Derric Harris & TE Alex Cade should be able to carry over last weeks success in the passing game & get behind the defense to cause havoc!  ;)

This Red Dragon has emerged from his lair after a long winter.  Send the Profs back to the Pine Barrens where they belong.  Hope we get a good, clean, hard fought game with a Dragon victory!
Taste It!

Do I sense a little fire in the belly? That's great to see. I hope Montclair has a little of that fire in their bellies when the  open up the NJAC at Sam Mills Field this Saturday against Morrisville.

Got back from my weekend in PA late yesterday and was too angry to post.

First of all, congratulations to Wilkes. They monkey stomped us. They are a well coached and disciplined team.

I couldn't believe what I saw from Montclair. All I harped on all summer was that Fisher needed to step up and the offensive play calling must not be so predictable.
No improvement from Fisher (SOS) and even I knew what plays were coming. Is there a rule that Fisher can't cross the line of scrimage. ::) We need mobility at the QB position and Boysen proved it again. He was also throwing ropes. Boysen needs to start, but I'm sure that will never happen. He was great at Cortland last year and then he sat on the bench. I saw Fisher gimp a little when Boysen came in, so maybe we will see this week. We need Boysen !!!!!!!!!

What is up with how they use Bliss. He is one talented running back, but leave him in as a single back and you will stop him. This is not rocket science. I think he ran wide twice and he got 5-8 yard each time. Keep using Bliss like that and he will continue to get 48 yards rushing. Please use his talents correctly.

2 picks and 3 fumbles does not = winning the game.

For some reason we always give up the deep pass and this year is no different.

If we keep this up a 5-5 record will be a miracle. :(

Thank you for that post, I agree 100% that Boysen should be starting.

Heck last year, I thought Eric Palmer should have started the year before his injury at Willie P ended his season.

No question Boysen should start, I started that campeign after the Cortland game and sticking to it. Unfortunatly, it doesn't look as though it will happen, it sounds like Giancola is sticking to Fischer through and through. Fact is that Boysen is more polished though.

I want to see first hand how the offense looks against Morrisville tomorrow. It should be interesting.

Hey Buddy,

I going to miss the game, due to a college alumni event. Give'em hell and come up with a good game summary on the board if you can. ;)

Hey Stalker,

If you had your picks already made (TCNJ Game) and forgot to post because of the above statement I will count it. Let me know.

Dave !!!

...the only acceptable excuse from 'Stalker should be, "I was painting the apartment while listen to the feed of the TCNJ game. When I ran out of the Fairytopia Pink paint, it was only then that I realized I failed to make my picks – but by then I was in such awe of the Lions multi-faceted offense that I just didn't care..."

The Lions actually rolled up 545 yards of offense... in the first half. The 708 yards of total "O" was a school record that stood since 1980. BTW, I was at that 1980 game against Ramapo.

Actually it is La Fonda Flamenco Pink and I did not run out.  I have been so busy lately that I did not even realize that TCNJ had a friday night game.  But I should have known better, TCNJ probably plays on Friday hoping to get mistaken for a HS game and that way get some news coverage in NJ.   ;D

No Dave, I did not make my picks and then forget to post them.  I made them when I posted them.  I just didn't even think to remove the TCNJ FDU game from the  pics.
